What is AAHA?
▪️The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is an organization that establishes standards for excellence in companion animal veterinary hospitals. AAHA accreditation is voluntary, meaning veterinary hospitals choose to undergo the process because they want to be held to a higher standard.
▪️Unlike simply meeting state or federal requirements, AAHA accreditation involves voluntarily meeting a comprehensive set of standards covering many aspects of veterinary practice.
▪️AAHA accreditation is not simply a one-time achievement. Accredited hospitals are expected to maintain the standards and continue improving over time.
For our clients, AAHA accreditation means that when you bring your pet to The New Kelley Animal Hospital, you can have confidence that we have voluntarily committed ourselves to meeting rigorous standards for veterinary care.
