Our days are about so much more than just caring for patients. We draw blood, run lab work, take X-rays, monitor anesthesia, assist with surgery, administer medications, calculate treatments, care for hospitalized patients, and comfort scared or sick pets. We educate clients, answer questions, and help make sure every patient receives the best care possible. ❤️
And when we aren’t doing all of that? You might find us answering phones, checking clients in and out, scheduling appointments, managing reception, cleaning kennels, doing laundry, feeding patients, and keeping the hospital running behind the scenes! 🐾
At a busy veterinary hospital, we truly do it ALL! From the front desk to the treatment room to the kennels, our team jumps in wherever we are needed because every single job plays a part in caring for our patients and their families.
This Veterinary Technician Week, we want to give a special shout-out to Kaitlyn, Bailey, Sarah, John, and Alyssa, who have been part of The New Kelley Animal Hospital family since OPENING DAY! 🎉💚
Under the leadership of Barbara Findlen Monaghan these five have helped build this hospital from the ground up, and their dedication, hard work, flexibility, and love for our patients mean more than words can say. They show up every day ready to do whatever it takes, whether that means providing hands-on medical care, comforting a worried pet parent, answering a ringing phone, or cleaning up one of the many messes that come with loving animals! 🐕💩
