Meet Elijah — a handsome Shepherd/Hound mix puppy with the sweetest personality and the cutest floppy ears! At just 5–6 months old and around 30 lbs, Elijah is the perfect mix of playful adventure buddy and cuddle companion.

Found wandering in rural Alabama, Elijah quickly decided that humans with food were definitely his kind of people — “Have food? Let’s go!” Since then, he has blossomed into an incredibly loving, social pup who adores everyone he meets. He is wonderfully friendly with other dogs, loves to chase balls, run and play, and is always excited for snack time!

Elijah is also doing amazing with his manners. He rides wonderfully in the car, is almost perfect on a leash, and sleeps quietly in his crate all night long. After playtime, he’s happiest curled up close to his people soaking up cuddles and affection.

Meet Moonpie — a sweet, loving 4-year-old terrier mix looking for her forever home! ❤️
This smaller medium-sized girl is the perfect mix of cuddle buddy and adventure partner. Moonpie loves snuggling on the couch or in bed, chewing on her favorite bone, and playing keep-away with her buddy Rhett. She gets along well with other pups and has a playful, happy spirit.
Moonpie is fully house trained and does great without a crate. She walks beautifully on a leash right by your side and doesn’t react to dogs or people while out and about. She also loves exploring the backyard and woods off leash and comes back right away when called.
She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she warms up, her sweet personality shines through quickly.

Major is around two years old and is a most likely a border collie / lab mix (a Borador). Major is very smart and is already house trained. He is great with other dogs and loves everyone he meets. 😊

Meet Brooks — a handsome German Shepherd mix puppy with the most gorgeous brindle coat and an even sweeter personality! Born at the end of December, Brooks is the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and loving companion.

This happy boy loves toys, playtime, and making new friends wherever he goes. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and absolutely adores people of all ages. Brooks is very gentle when taking treats and is always excited to be part of the fun.

Like most puppies, Brooks can get a little carried away with excitement and may jump up to say hello, but he’s already learning his manners and doing great with redirection. He’s smart, eager to please, and ready to grow into an amazing best friend.

Meet Boone — a one-year-old Bernedoodle who is the dog equivalent of a big floppy teddy bear, but a lot more animated!

Boone is a spirited 75-pound boy who has no clue how big he is. He loves everyone he meets… maybe a little too much. Boone has not quite learned all of his manners yet and is looking for a forever home that can work with him on some simple but important skills. He’s already a wonderful dog. He just needs a little polishing.

Like many poodles and poodle mixes, Boone is very smart and eager to please his owner. He is fully potty trained and not destructive. His first family loved him very much, and he has been well taken care of since they got him at 7 weeks old. He just turned one on April 28.

Boone is looking for an active family who can take him on walks. He also loves a good car ride! A fenced yard and a doggy playmate to get out some of his energy would be an added bonus. He’s used to being with his person most of the day, so we would prefer a home where someone is home a lot of the time. Boone’s forever family should also factor in the cost of having him groomed — he needs it about once a month.

Have a pup-filled weekend! Bring one of our dogs home for a couple of days to provide them with some in-home experience. This short-term commitment helps them adjust to home life, making them even more ready for adoption, and gives you some great company for the weekend!

Meet Gretel — a gentle giant puppy who would make the perfect family dog! 💛

This sweet girl loves people more than anything and is happiest snuggled up beside her humans giving kisses and soaking up belly rubs. Gretel and her siblings were raised in a loving foster home since they were just one week old, and it truly shows in her calm, affectionate personality.

Born at the end of January, Gretel is already showing those laid-back big dog vibes. She’s expected to be a very large dog but is incredibly gentle, loving, and easygoing. She enjoys playtime, naps, and being close to her people.

Gretel is almost fully potty trained, working on crate and leash training, and is very smart and treat motivated. She has done great with other dogs and children.

Gretel and her brother Bavo are the last two pups still looking for forever homes! 🐾

Meet Bernie!

Bernie is a 4-year-old, 70 lb Pit Bull mix with a happy spirit and a big love for people. This good boy is housebroken, crate trained, and perfectly content living the indoor life where he can be close to his humans. Bernie absolutely adores people and does great with kids—he’s the kind of dog who’s always excited to see you and ready to join in whatever the family is doing.

Bernie has a playful personality and enjoys a good rough-and-tumble play session. Because of his energetic play style, he would do best with a laid-back female dog who doesn’t mind a little roughhousing, or he’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as the only dog in the home. He previously lived with an older, confident female Lab and got along with her just fine.

One thing to know about Bernie—cats are a little too interesting to him, so a cat-free home is best.
