Meshach has spent his entire life in rescue and somehow, not a single application.
Not one person has chosen him and we don’t get it.

❄️Lobo❄️
This handsome guy is Lobo ❤️ He is a gorgeous white Husky with piercing blue eyes.

Lobo is a total sweetheart but he is a typical Husky who needs an experienced owner and a sturdy fence. Lobo is a big, strong boy who loves playing outside but also also enjoys being a couch potato and watching tv while he enjoys a good chew bone.

Lobo is doing well with his house training and is good in his secure crate. He is fine with other dogs with proper introductions and loves every person he meets. He can still get a bit excited when meeting new people and may need to be reminded of how big he is.

Lobo would be best as a companion dog where he can go on fun hikes and walks or runs where he can got out his Husky energy. He would be fine with older children but might be a bit to rambunctious for young children.

Meet Grover! 🐾

Born at the beginning of April, Grover is a handsome Lab mix with the perfect blend of intelligence, playfulness, and affection. This sweet boy is calm, cool, and collected, making him an easy puppy to fall in love with.

Grover loves snuggling up with his foster mom and happily soaks up all the attention he can get from his favorite people. While he has a laid-back personality, he’s also always ready for fun and is usually the first puppy to jump into playtime. He enjoys romping around with the other dogs in his foster home and enthusiastically joins in every game and adventure.

This smart little guy is doing wonderfully with house training and is eager to learn new things. With his loving nature, good manners, and desire to please, Grover is sure to make a wonderful addition to almost any family.

Meet Bernie!

Bernie is a 4-year-old, 70 lb Pit Bull mix with a happy spirit and a big love for people. This good boy is housebroken, crate trained, and perfectly content living the indoor life where he can be close to his humans. Bernie absolutely adores people and does great with kids—he’s the kind of dog who’s always excited to see you and ready to join in whatever the family is doing.

Bernie has a playful personality and enjoys a good rough-and-tumble play session. Because of his energetic play style, he would do best with a laid-back female dog who doesn’t mind a little roughhousing, or he’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as the only dog in the home. He previously lived with an older, confident female Lab and got along with her just fine.

One thing to know about Bernie—cats are a little too interesting to him, so a cat-free home is best.

Meet Bandit!
We know… so handsome right?! 😍 Aside from his dashing good looks, he is also an expert snuggler! He will cuddle on the couch with you all day if you let him ❤️. He absolutely adores hoomans! He hasn’t met one that he hasn’t made his best friend!

Bandit knows his manners and is a certified “good boy”! He will sit, give paw, and lay down all for a treat 🍖. He is eager to please and loves to learn new things. He is very quiet and loves all the lovins too! 🥰 Sweet Bandit is great with kids and cats 🐱 but he does prefer to be the only pup in the household. He would do best with a fenced in yard so he can exercise and sunbathe ☀️.

💜Lavender
Lavender is an adult Pittie girl. She is a happy, fun girl who enjoys playing with the other puppies in her foster home, snuggling with her humans and napping 💤 Lavender’s favorite things are dinner, her toys and treats. 🤣

She is a smart cookie who has mastered crate training and is doing great with house training.
Her foster mom describes Lavey as being laidback, a little shy and as sweet as pie! 💕
She is great with the older children in her foster home and would make a wonderful family dog or companion.

💔🐾 PLEASE HELP US SAVE THESE GOOD DOGS 🐾💔

We love our partners at Greater Birmingham Humane Society, and our hearts break for dogs like these.

They're not aggressive.
They're not "problem dogs."
They're not unwanted.

They're simply being overlooked.

All of these boys have been sitting in a kennel for over a month (some even longer), watching people walk past them every day. The longer they sit, the more kennel stress starts to take its toll. And that's not fair to dogs this sweet.

Calling all our Husky lovers!! 🐺

Meet Simon — a gorgeous Husky puppy with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life! This handsome boy is full of playful energy and is always ready for his next adventure. Whether it’s going for walks, chasing balls, exploring the outdoors, or romping around with other dogs, Simon is happiest when he’s on the move.

Simon is great with other dogs and has done well with the cat in his foster home too. He’s currently working hard on house training and doing very well! While crates aren’t really his favorite thing, he’s not destructive… unless you leave a flip flop within reach — those are simply too tempting for this playful pup!

Simon would thrive with an active family who can keep up with his fun-loving spirit and continue helping him learn and grow. A fenced yard is a must for this energetic boy so he has plenty of room to run, play, and burn off that Husky energy.

Meet Happy Jack! When you see his photos, you’ll understand why he needed a “happy” in front of his name. This hound-mix pup is always smiling!

His good nature is in spite of a beginning that wasn’t so idyllic. Happy Jack and his siblings were found abandoned at a gas station as very young pups. Some good samaritans took them in and found homes for all the puppies except for Happy Jack. He lived on a farm with lots of animals during his formative months. His foster family found out he wasn’t good with chickens, so he sadly spent a lot of time in a kennel. But Happy Jack is proving to be a pretty chill fella now that he has moved to a foster home with no chickens.

Happy Jack looks to his human for guidance and aims to please, so he should be fun and easy to train. He’s super affectionate and loves to lean on his human. He will be a total lap dog if you let him. A very large lap dog! He already weighs 55 lbs at just 7 months old. He does love to play with other dogs after a proper introduction and would be OK with a doggy sibling or as an only child.
