Bingo is 9 now months old, and he’s still waiting for a family to call his own! He’s grown up in rescue, something no puppy should. have to do. While other puppies are learning what it’s like to grow up in a home, Bingo is still waiting for his turn.

We know that the fact that Bingo is still healing from an injury can feel scary to potential adopters. Taking on a puppy who needs a little extra help can feel overwhelming, but we want you to know that we are committed to supporting anyone willing to give Bingo a chance, as long as it’s the right home for him. We want to see him succeed just as much as you do, and we’ll continue helping with his recovery.

At the end of the day, Bingo is just a puppy. He wants to play, make friends, be silly, and spend his days with a family who loves him! He has so much life ahead of him, and we want nothing more than to see him experience it outside of rescue🤍

Meet Bonnie Bennett!

Named after our favorite witch from The Vampire Diaries, this 6-week-old kitten has plenty of personality packed into one tiny body. She’s spunky, playful, and gets along with both cats and dogs!

Bonnie has received her first round of shots and is ready to find a family of her own. If you’re looking for a tiny sidekick with a little bit of magic and a whole lot of sass, Bonnie might be your girl.

Happy $5 Friday🐾

We have a few things we’re working toward this week! Bingo is still making progress with physical therapy, our newest intake, Penelope, needs to be spayed, and we’re hoping to keep chipping away at our vet bill so we can put as much money as possible towards those in need!

Every $5 adds up and makes a difference for our little rescue. We know we’ve been asking for donations a lot lately, and we truly appreciate everyone who continues to show up for our underdogs. We couldn’t do this without you!

Meet Beans! This 1.5-year-old girl is as sweet as they come! Beans was surrendered due to her owner’s work schedule, and now she’s looking for a family to call her own. She’s spayed, up to date on her shots, incredibly cuddly, and seems to be friendly with both dogs and cats!

Her favorite hobbies include getting all the cuddles and dramatically rolling around on the floor for absolutely no reason 😂

Happy National Black Dog Day!

Bingo finished his first week of physical therapy! We’re so proud of him for trying to be calm through the whole process. We’ve also been working on some training to help him settle, but sometimes that puppy brain takes over and he just can’t help himself!

Big thanks to Sound Animal Rehab & Fitness for being patient with this guy🤍 Can’t wait to see his progress!

Lawrence has been in rescue since December 2025 and in all that time, not one person has been interested in him. And meanwhile, his foster family gets to see every day just how special he is🤍

Lawrence is the kind of dog who loves life. He loves playing with his dog friends, he’s great with cats, he loves his people, and he is just an all around happy, lovable boy. He’s house trained, crate trained, neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative… he really has all the things you could want in a dog!

He’s been so loved in his foster home, but we know there’s a family out there who could give him everything he’s ever wanted.

Meet Meatloaf 🥩

Meatloaf is around 2 years old, neutered, up to date on his shots, house trained, and dog friendly! He LOVES his people, soaking up the sunshine, and giving approximately 847 kisses a day. He’s a total goofball and will keep you laughing!

A few things to know about this chunky boy:
🐾 No cats for Meatloaf because he thinks chasing them is a fun game
🐾 Dog friendly, but toys should not be left out when he’s hanging with other dogs
🐾 House trained
🐾 Professional sunbather
🐾 Certified kiss enthusiast
🐾 Currently working on losing at least 10 lbs 😂

🐾MEATLOAF NEEDS A FOSTER🐾

Yesterday, we pulled Meatloaf from Blount County Humane Society. We thought we had a foster lined up, but it didn’t work out. Meatloaf is currently boarding at Pawms Pet Resort Downtown Birmingham but we would love to get him into a foster home!

Meatloaf loves to play with other dogs, but would do best if no toys are involved.
