Meet Bradley (sound up), our very own Katy Dothard’s official WFH supervisor, hard at work as usual. While the rest of us are typing up reports and answering emails, Bradley’s primary duties consist of:

-Providing aggressive, deep-sleep sound effects during critical calls
-Demonstrating peak office productivity by remaining completely unconscious until lunch
-Serving as a living, snoring white-noise machine for the entire desk setup

Every dog is unique, and so is every family. That’s why we take the time to learn about your unique goals, family rhythms, and your dog's distinct personality. From there, we design a customized dog parenting plan that fits naturally into your lifestyle and targets the root of any behavioral challenges. Our mission isn't just to teach commands—it’s to help you craft a peaceful, harmonious life together.

Snuggling in the bed with your dog: Some people allow it, others have no interest. To each their own. Many professional dog trainers will recommend that it not be allowed. We have a different take. These can be some of the most wholesome moments in our relationship, but it's important to understand how to do this properly.

One key to having a great experience is to not allow your dog to jump up on the bed without permission. Doing so helps you to maintain ownership of that space. Dogs "own what they decide", meaning if they jump up without permission, they have taken possession of that space. This can lead to other issues. Also, we like to say that a dog can snuggle in the bed so long as they are capable of not. This means that if your dogs presents with separation anxiety, it is best that you work on healthy separation, not more physical contact.

Beyond those simple rules, snuggle away!

Another satisfied dog parent! Skipper is a 4-year-old rescue with a moderate to severe social anxiety disorder. He would dip, dodge, and hide from every social overture that he didn't expressly authorize. But now with proper parent training, boundary-setting, and the instillation of rules, Skipper's behavior has dramatically improved. Work is ongoing, but we think we'll hit every goal in this case.

Company's coming over, and your stomach tightens. The walk you used to enjoy has turned into a daily tug-of-war. You love your dog, but living together has started to feel exhausting.

Your dog isn't broken, and you haven't failed them. Most unwanted behavior happens simply because a dog is making too many big decisions on their own—decisions they were never meant to handle. Real progress is built through giving them clear structure so they can finally relax, allowing you to do the same.

Through our Parent-Training approach, we focus on helping your dog feel secure rather than just robotic; and purposeful instead of aimless.

Picture a home where your dog settles comfortably on their bed while you host friends or watch a movie. Where pulling on the leash is replaced by a relaxed walk. Where life with your dog feels simple again.

We can help you get there.

Rosie came to us as a high-energy, 13-week-old Mini Goldendoodle puppy with moderate to severe impulse control issues. The family struggled with ongoing biting, barking, jumping, scratching, and attentional deficit issues. These presented far beyond typical and acceptable puppy development behaviors. Taken together, these issues clustered as a mid-level generalized anxiety disorder. Left untreated, they would have likely escalated into higher orders of anxiety and manifested as an obsessive compulsive disorder. But we stopped all of that.

After her canine parent training sessions, the family learned effective boundary-setting and communication techniques needed to alleviate Rosie's anxiety. She is now a happy, well-adjusted adolescent who continues to learn and explore the world within the safe confines of a well-constructed family.

**Bonus points, because Rosie is now so well-behaved, their children with autism spectrum disorder have learned to not be fearful of dogs**
