Happy Vet Tech Week, Rachel!

Rachel is one of the newer faces on our medical team, but you would never know it! She has fit right in with our BAHR family and has already proven to be such a wonderful addition to our team.

One thing you should know about Rachel is that she has a special place in her heart for pitties! She absolutely adores her pit bull babies, and the chunkier, the better!

We’re so lucky to have Rachel on our team and are excited to watch her continue to grow with us. Her love for animals and the way she’s jumped right in have made her a perfect fit at BAHR!

Help us show Rachel some love this Vet Tech Week!

Happy Vet Tech Week, Michelle!

Michelle may be part of our part-time team here at BAHR, but veterinary medicine is a full-time passion for her!

When she’s not with us, Michelle works full-time in emergency veterinary medicine, where she gets hands-on experience caring for patients in some of their most critical moments. And she’s about to take another exciting step in her career by starting veterinary technician school!

We love seeing team members who are passionate about continuing their education and building their skills, and we’re excited to see where Michelle’s career takes her.

We’re grateful she shares her time and experience with our BAHR family!

Help us celebrate Michelle this Vet Tech Week!

Happy Vet Tech Week, Ashley!

Ashley has been part of our BAHR family for quite some time! After previously working with us full-time, she took some time away to welcome her first baby and has since returned to our team part-time. We’re so happy to have her back!

And as if being a new mom wasn’t keeping her busy enough, Ashley is also preparing to start veterinary technician school!

We love watching our team members grow, both personally and professionally, and we’re excited for this next chapter in Ashley’s life.

We’re grateful for the time she spends with us and everything she contributes to our hospital and patients.

Help us show Ashley some love this Vet Tech Week!

Happy Vet Tech Week, Anthony!

Anthony joined our team just a few weeks ago, and he’s already made a great first impression! He jumped right in and quickly became a welcome addition to our medical team.

When he’s not with us at BAHR, Anthony works full-time at a local veterinary urgent care, where he gains valuable experience caring for pets with a variety of illnesses, injuries, and unexpected medical needs.

Anthony also has a special interest in exotic animals and hopes to become a veterinarian himself one day! We love seeing that kind of passion for veterinary medicine and are excited to be a small part of his journey toward reaching that goal.

We’re grateful to have someone with his experience and enthusiasm on our team, and we look forward to watching him continue to learn and grow!

Help us give Anthony a warm welcome and show him some love this Vet Tech Week!

Happy Vet Tech Week, Anna!

There’s a lot that goes into caring for our patients beyond what happens in the exam room, and our veterinary technicians are such an important part of it all!

From assisting our veterinarians and helping with treatments to making sure our patients are comfortable and cared for throughout the day, Anna plays a part in the teamwork that keeps our hospital running.

Veterinary medicine can be unpredictable, and we appreciate having Anna as part of the team that helps us tackle whatever the day brings.

We’re thankful she’s part of our BAHR family!

Happy Vet Tech Week, Isabel!

Isabel got her start right here at BAHR in our resort! Since then, she’s continued growing her skills and knowledge in veterinary medicine, even picking up shifts at an emergency veterinary hospital to gain additional experience.

One of the many things that makes Isabel such an asset to our team is that she’s bilingual! She plays an important role in helping bridge the communication gap between our doctors and Spanish-speaking clients, making sure questions are answered, medical recommendations are clearly explained, and everyone feels comfortable and understood. Her ability to help us provide that extra level of care means so much to our team and the families we serve!

We’re proud of Isabel’s dedication to continuing to learn and grow, and we’re so happy she’s part of our BAHR family.

Help us celebrate Isabel this Vet Tech Week!

Happy Vet Tech Week, Hannah!

Hannah’s journey with BAHR actually started in our resort, and we’ve loved watching her grow into the knowledgeable veterinary technician she is today!

Currently attending veterinary technician school, Hannah is incredibly smart and always looking for opportunities to learn and expand her skills.

She’s also our unofficial spicy cat wrangler! Whether a kitty is sweet and snuggly or has a little extra attitude, Hannah is one of our go-to people when our feline friends need some extra patience and understanding.

We’re so proud of how far Hannah has come and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes!

Help us show Hannah some love this Vet Tech Week!

Happy Vet Tech Week, Andrea!

Andrea wears many hats here at Birmingham Animal Hospital + Resort! Along with her experience as a veterinary technician, she serves as our Client Care & Medical Communications Coordinator, helping bridge the gap between our medical team and the families who trust us with their pets.

From answering medical questions and coordinating patient care to keeping communication flowing between our doctors, staff, and clients, Andrea plays an important role in so much of what happens behind the scenes.

We’re so thankful for her knowledge, experience, and everything she contributes to our BAHR family!

Happy Vet Tech Week, Brandon!

Brandon is one of the familiar faces on our medical team here at Birmingham Animal Hospital + Resort! Whether he’s assisting our veterinarians, helping with treatments and procedures, or caring for our patients throughout the day, Brandon is part of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into keeping our hospital running.

Being a veterinary technician means juggling a little bit of everything, often all at once, and no two days are ever quite the same!

We’re thankful to have Brandon as part of our BAHR family and appreciate the time and care he gives our patients.
