With his red felt hat, blue coat, and little yellow rain boots, Bertram the Pomeranian looked ready for a Halloween adventure as Paddington Bear. But when his mom shared photos of his adorable costume, she had no idea just how many hearts her little dog would capture.

Bert had been adopted from an Oklahoma shelter in 2013, and a few years later, he became an internet sensation in his charming bear outfit. His mom explained on Instagram that she was trying the costume on a little early for Halloween, but she just couldn't resist seeing how he looked. The photos quickly went viral, and Bert became a favorite among dog lovers everywhere.

But Bert was more than just an adorable dog in a costume. His story as a once-overlooked rescue pup made his newfound fame even sweeter. The little dog who had once needed someone to give him a chance went on to bring happiness to people around the world.

Sadly, Bert passed away suddenly in his sleep in November 2024. His sudden loss left his devoted mom heartbroken, but the joy he brought to so many people continues to live on.

Bert's legacy even inspired a crypto coin and a stuffed toy modeled after his famous costume. The plush tribute helps raise funds for homeless dogs and supports charities and hospitals, allowing his special gift for spreading happiness to make a difference long after his passing.

His mom once described him as “an absolute hero of happiness who helped me get up each morning.” For more than 11 years, Bert was her best friend, bringing love, comfort, and countless reasons to smile.

And thanks to one unforgettable costume, the little rescue dog who stole the internet's heart will continue spreading joy for years to come.

A woman and her Irish Wolfhound won fans around the world with their clever Halloween costumes inspired by the 1990s comedy classic Wayne’s World.

A photo shared on Reddit shows former Miss Delaware Kate Banaszak dressed as Wayne Campbell, complete with a plaid shirt, black cap and inflatable guitar. But it’s her Irish Wolfhound, Kellan, who steals the show as Garth Algar, sporting thick black-framed glasses, messy blond hair and a goofy, happy grin.

Banaszak is a fan of the film, and Kellan is apparently a good sport when it comes to her Halloween costume ideas. She told The Huffington Post that he doesn’t just look the part; he embodies Garth’s spirit.

“He digs classic rock, he’s a lovable guy, an awesome best friend, and he even has his own dream woman,” she said. “Though, instead of a hot blonde, it’s a bullmastiff named Nike that he met in agility class. Still, I’m pretty sure Hendrix’s ‘Foxy Lady’ plays in his head when he sees her,” she said, referencing scenes from Wayne’s World.

Kellan may be playing Garth, but with that goofy grin and a real-life “Foxy Lady” of his own, he’s definitely a star in his own right!
