Nightmare for animals 💔 This blood is on the hands of LDA (Lahore development authority) . Last night at 4 am, LDA demolished the pet and bird market which had piegions, birds, cats, and rabbits as well as puppies caged. Despite the pleas of shopkeepers, LDA did this butchering. LDA did not give them time to evacuate.
A letter for demolition came to the Police station at 4am when LDA conducted the operation, the Police were only present to control the law and order situation.
We just spoke to the market head/Sadar and he was telling us that Lda called the market people in the DC office and planned for two days time to remove animals and things and made a commitment with them. Despite the commitment and plan they broke the promise and started operation at 4am without removing the animals.
No matter what you build here, this land will always carry blood and baduas of the innocent.
The two officers present at the site and the meeting who conducted this entire operation are Ehtisham, Arsalan and the others involved are Zahid Abbas, Iqrar Hussain, and Shabir Hussain.
Strict action and court proceedings need to be carried out against this operation that butchered all these animals.
We will never stay silent on animal cruelty no matter who stands on the other side.
We tried to help via the police, but the rubble is too much, and apparently only LDA will pick this up. They did all this and left. We are present at the site but speechless.
