Meet our newest trio of residents: Wahanee, Abraham, and Jethro.

This bonded family spent their entire lives together and when their aging owners could no longer care for them, they made the loving choice to ask for help.

Most sanctuaries can’t take in three bonded equines at once… but keeping families together is part of what makes On Golden Rescue different. And because of that, this trio arrived together, stayed together, and is now beginning again together.

They came to us underweight, overdue for care, and deeply attached to one another. Now they’re finally safe, settling in, and receiving the attention they’ve needed for a long time.

We’re committed to giving them the full veterinary, dental, and farrier care they deserve but we can’t do it without you.

The Big Red Barn is officially ready. Right now, the only thing holding us back from saying “yes” to more animals is staffing. We’re actively bringing on additional team members and volunteers so we can safely welcome new residents.

At OGR, we only take in animals when every resource is in place; feed, shelter, staffing, and long‑term care. That commitment doesn’t change as we grow.
