We had a nice, slower-paced week last week! Of course, we still had our daycare regulars keeping us company, and Charlie Sophie and Daisy even got to come stay for a little boarding visit!

The weather has been so nice lately that we’ve been able to spend even more time outside soaking it all up. It was a good week with lots of fresh air, playtime, and happy pups!

Another BUSY week in the books at Howl Yeah!

We had Ranger, Doodle Luna, Harlo & Kona hanging out for boarding, our regular daycare crew Charlie, Sophie, Nala, Dot & Daisy, and even Miss Sierra came for a daycare day! We also had Jack come spend the WEEK with us because we missed that goofy boy so much! 💙

We tried to enjoy as much outside time as possible… but between the wildfire smoke irritating some of the pups’ eyes and the Blue Angels making appearances in the sky (and startling a few of our more dramatic residents), we spent plenty of time inside too!

Thankfully, indoor time = prime snuggle time.

There was plenty of playing, wrestling, zooming, napping, cuddling and general dog business happening all week. The pups had an absolute blast together, and we loved every minute of having them here! 🐾💕

We are ready for another busy, fun-filled week at Howl Yeah!

Jack and Nala decided it was time to get their wrestle on. 🐾

Jack: “OH, WE’RE PLAYING?! LET’S GOOOOOO!”

Jack is still learning his polite-play manners, so we’re working on reminding him that being excited is great… but keeping those manners in check is even better. 😉 He’s a work in progress!

Of course, Dot and Luna had to come see what all the commotion was about and attempted to join the party. Because no fun is allowed around here without everyone getting involved. 😂❤️

If you’ve been wondering where we’ve been… well… apparently I’ve been too busy actually doing the dog thing to post about the dog thing. 😂

The last couple of weeks have been BUSY around here! Between our regular daycare crew — Dot, Nala, Daisy, Charlie & Sophie — our boarding buddies Bug & Kodiak, and a visit from baby Leo for another day of daycare, there has been approximately zero shortage of wagging tails, muddy paws, dog hair, barking, cuddles, p**p bags and general silliness.

And of course, Luna & Josie have been enjoying their usual very important job of greeting everyone who comes through the door.

And honestly? As exhausting as this job can be, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. ❤️

I genuinely feel so blessed that I get to spend my days surrounded by dogs, doing something I absolutely love. Some days are long, some days are REALLY long, and by the time I finally sit down I have about three functioning brain cells left… but then a dog puts their head in my lap and I remember exactly why I do this. 🥹

So instead of trying to catch up on every single post I’ve missed, here’s a big ol’ Howl Yeah! photo dump from the last two weeks!

Enjoy the faces, the fluff, the questionable sleeping positions, and all the good times.

And yes… I promise I’m still alive.

Meet Leo! 🐾

This handsome fella joined us for daycare today, and at just 4 months old, he's already a big boy! We kicked off the morning with a nice walk, practiced some heeling at the park, and burned off a little bit of that endless puppy energy... emphasis on a little. 😂

Leo is such a sweet, well-mannered pup who's eager to learn and even more eager to have fun.

Dot would like everyone to know that she once found a single leftover treat in the snuffle mats that are on top of this crate… THREE MONTHS AGO.

She returns to the site of the greatest discovery of her life nearly every time she visits because clearly the treat fairy could come back at any moment.

It's been a nice, laid-back week around here! ❤️

Jack and Miss Daisy helped me celebrate my birthday on Tuesday. We had plans for a little road trip with the pups. Unfortunately, the smoky skies had other ideas, so we changed plans and made the best of it with a fun stop by the river instead. The dogs had an absolute blast splashing around, exploring, and enjoying the fresh air!

Jack checked out from boarding yesterday after another wonderful stay, and today we've got an all-girl crew!

Dot, Nala, Josie, and Luna have been the best girls. We started the morning with a walk before it got too hot, followed by a little rest, and now they're enjoying plenty of playtime, snuggles, and making the most of another fun daycare day. 🐾
