There’s something powerful about leaders who are willing to listen, lean in, and engage.
A huge thank you to Wyoming’s congressional delegation, Senator Cynthia Lummis, John Barrasso, and Rep. Harriet Hageman, for welcoming representatives from Montana's Dog Tag Buddies, Purina Dog Chow, and Got Your Six PTSD Support Dogs, to their Wyoming Coffee.
We came with important conversations surrounding veterans, service dogs, and the future of programs supporting those living with the invisible wounds of war. They listened thoughtfully, asked questions, and most importantly, offered support and a willingness to help move solutions forward.
Advocacy work can be exhausting at times, but moments like this matter. They remind us that bipartisan conversations, collaboration, and genuine engagement still exist, and that veterans are best served when people are willing to come to the table together.
Grateful for the opportunity to be heard and for leaders who recognize that supporting veterans transcends state lines and politics.
Because this work is bigger than any one organization. It’s about ensuring veterans have access to the tools, support, and social mobility they deserve.
