Big Timber MTMid four digitsCurly is a 3yr old Tennesse walker/ quarter horse cross. He is going to make a nice ranch or trail horse. Along with his pretty easy going personality at this age will probably make a good family horse in the future. I really don’t like selling ones that are this green but with my string of luck lately something has to go.Curly stands 15.2 hands is pretty leggy but slowly filling out. He has a calm demeanor for the most part. I have used Curly sorting inside and outside along with gathering and trailing cows. He’s gone out with other horses and alone, he travels with purpose and covers all types of terrain wherever you point him. Hes also got a will to STOP when asked and really picks up on your body change. He’s been across ditches, trailed cows up busy roads, been through brush, up and down steep country. This c**t is phenomenally smart and a very fast learner, he picks up beyond where you left off the last time. He wants to have a lot of feel to his body and is eager to please. He’s been lightly exposed to the wood bridge, roping, using a flag on top him, cracking a whip. He is good with his feet and has had a set of shoes at one time. Has good hard feet as well. He has neverer offered to buck or run off. Hes been a nice c**t that keeps getting better with every ride. Curly has never offered to buck, rear, or run off with me, even on those cold mornings In new spots or gathering horses in the wide open.Cons: he has previously been a turd to bridle but is getting better, is not wild or dangerous. He can get a little antsy when you leave the other horses when out riding but is vestry controllable and coming out of it. Not a mean bone in his body, just a little greener than I’d like him to go. I had plans on keeping this guy to test just how fancy I could make a walker cross as he does want to ride around pretty nice. He’s naturally pretty collected, he’s a strong confident mover, picking up on cues really well.406-931-0521
