Our handsome boy Ace has officially found his forever family, and we couldn’t be happier for him! 🥹🏡

This sweet, one-year-old Australian Shepherd has been waiting for his chance, and now he gets what every rescue dog deserves: a family to call his own, a couch to claim, and a lifetime of love ahead of him. ❤️

Ace is fully vetted, housebroken, crate trained, and such a wonderful boy with people and other animals. We knew his perfect family was out there, and today, his story got a beautiful new chapter. 🐶💜

DRAKE ISN’T LOOKING FOR A COUCH POTATO LIFESTYLE. HE’S LOOKING FOR HIS NEXT GREAT ADVENTURE.

Meet Drake, a one-year-old German Shepherd/Belgian mix who’s ready to find a family that can keep up with him.

Drake is a sweet boy with plenty of energy. He’s housebroken, good on a leash, and does well with other animals. He’s got the foundation to make a wonderful companion for someone who understands that young, active dogs need more than a backyard and a food bowl.

This boy needs an active home with people who can give him regular exercise, engagement, training, and a job to do. A securely fenced yard with a tall, sturdy fence is important for keeping this athletic guy safe.

Hiking? Training? Long walks? Adventures that leave you both happily tired at the end of the day? Drake would love a family that makes him part of the action.

He doesn’t need a family to be perfect. He needs a family ready to commit to the time, consistency, and activity that will help him thrive.

Today was a GOOD day at The Barking Lot! 🥹🐾

Our sweet HARLOW and PJ officially found their forever homes! 💜

Harlow, our sweet little pocket pittie, and PJ, our lovable girl with so much personality, are officially starting their next chapters with families of their own. 🏡🐶

These are the moments that make every sleepless night, every vet bill, every mess, every worry, and every ounce of hard work worth it. THIS is why we do what we do. Every single life matters, and every adoption is a reminder that their story doesn’t have to end at a shelter. It can start with a family. ❤️

The Barking Lot Animal Sanctuary is down to our LAST FOUR BAGS OF DOG FOOD, and we have a whole lot of hungry mouths depending on us every single day.

These dogs depend on us for everything. They can’t run to the store, ask for help, or understand why their food bowls are empty. That’s where YOU come in.
