We believe that training and behavior are technologies. We’re here to help you hack those technologies so you can experience a happier life with your dog. We use research-based methods and train at industry standards. Our trainers are all educated and experienced, and Simpawtico as an organization adheres to both LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) and The Humane Hierarchy. We are constantly engaging in professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest science has to offer in canine learning, behavior, and training methodologies. Our team believes that training doesn’t need to be painful or scary, even when we’re helping your dog with big behaviors. YOU can create a loving bond, an enthusiastic learner, and a trusted partner…we’ll show you how!

Puppy season keeps bringing us some good ones, and this Puppy 1 crew was no exception.

Let's hear it for Benny, Rikku, Lily Rose, and Roxy, with Zen and Rowan cheering them on from home! Six puppies, six families, all showing up week after week to build the foundation that makes everything else possible. Watching a room full of baby dogs start to actually look to their people instead of just reacting to the world is one of the best parts of this job, and this group got there.

Keep learning, keep practicing. Proud of this whole crew.

Seven puppies walked into Puppy 2, and seven puppies walked out with their AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy title in hand. That's not a coincidence; that's a group that worked.

Let's hear it for Lulu, Izzy, Fitz, Precious, Pebbles, and Boomer, and (not pictured) Sadie!

The S.T.A.R. Puppy title covers real ground: manners, handling, the early skills that make everything after this easier. Every family in this class put that work in, together, on the same timeline. Keep learning, keep practicing; this crew has more than earned the next step.

What was the moment during this session when you felt like your puppy really "got it"?

Congratulations to our Basic Class graduates! Daisy, Gracie, Mark, and Finn wrapped up the session this week, and we couldn't be prouder of how far this class came together. Stout and Goose graduated as well, even though they dodged the camera. It was a wonderful group to work with, and we're looking forward to seeing all six back in Intermediate soon!

Some classes complete a session. This one completed a journey. From Basic through Intermediate and into Advanced, this group put in the kind of sustained work that actually changes a dog and their pet parent, and it showed.

Let's hear it for Ralph, Aggie, and Olallie, and (not pictured) Marley and Finn!

Toward the end of the session, we ran a pre-Canine Good Citizen evaluation just to see where everyone stood, and every single dog outperformed what their people expected going in. Watching that click into place after months of work was genuinely one of the best parts of this class.

The dogs weren't the only ones who leveled up. The discussions this group had along the way were some of the richest we've seen, and more than one handler walked away seeing their dog in a whole new light.

What was the moment in this journey when you realized your dog had really turned a corner?

Keep learning, keep practicing!
