Saturn has discovered that being ridiculously talented AND ridiculously funny is apparently a full-time job! 🪐😂

Meet Saturn, our one-year-old Belgian Malinois × English Mastiff mix and one of NINE incredible puppies we’re raising and training here at Service Dog Pros! 🐕💪

These dogs are something else! The intelligence, drive, curiosity, problem-solving abilities, and willingness to learn we’re seeing in this crew are absolutely fascinating.

The Malinois brings the brains, athleticism, and work ethic. The Mastiff brings strength, determination, and a whole lot of personality. Put them together, and you’ve got some seriously exciting working-dog potential wrapped in four paws and a mischievous grin! 🧠🔥

But here’s the BEST part…

When the training session ends, the comedy show begins! 🎬🤣

Saturn’s current off-duty assignment? Proudly parading around with his giant red ball like he’s just won the World Championship of Important Dog Stuff! 🔴🏆

And I wouldn’t dare tell him otherwise. 😂

That’s what I love about developing working dogs. Behind all that focus, discipline, and potential is a dog who still needs to PLAY, explore, be silly, and enjoy being a dog!

We’re not raising robots. We’re developing confident, capable working partners with personalities as big as their potential.

🐾💦 MERCURY HAS ENTERED THE CHAT… AND APPARENTLY, SHE’S ON WATER DUTY! 😂🐕

Meet Mercury, our one-year-old Belgian Malinois × English Mastiff mix and one of our up-and-coming working dogs here at Service Dog Pros! ❤️

Today’s mission? Water-bowl inspection! 💦🐾

And judging by this video, she’s taking her responsibilities VERY seriously! 😂

But here’s what we love about raising working dogs: not every valuable moment happens during a formal training session.

It’s the everyday experiences, curiosity, confidence, problem-solving, and interactions with their environment that help shape the dogs they’re becoming.

At just one year old, Mercury is still learning, growing, and developing the foundation for her future working career.

She’s got the Malinois energy, the Mastiff personality, and enough character to keep us entertained every single day! 🤣❤️

Staff Meeting Update:
We have a new hire. Please welcome Mercury.

Earth: Logistics & Hydration Management (Specialty: Red Bucket Delivery)
Pluto: Security & Intimidation (Specialty: Unblinking Eye Contact)
Mercury: Quality Control & Flavor Analysis (Specialty: Licking the Deck)

As you can see in the video, Mercury takes her job very seriously. She is conducting a meticulous, tongue-based inspection of the wooden post. Completely unbothered by the red bucket in the background that Earth left as a formal request for water.

Three Malinois Mastiff mixes. Three completely different, highly intense personalities. I don't own dogs, I manage a highly specialized (and very strange) executive team. 🐾💼

Employee Review: Pluto (Malinois Mastiff Mix)
Position: Yard Supervisor
Performance: 5/5 Stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

While his sister Earth is busy dropping red buckets at my feet to demand water service, Pluto has taken a different approach. He simply lies in the grass, looks directly into my soul, and telepathically reminds me that I am merely a staff member here. Look at that face. The intense eyes.

He’s got the majestic black mask, the sharp ears, and the chain collar. He doesn't need to fetch the bucket—he just supervises the operations and judges the hose placement. The intelligence in this breed mix is wild. 🐾🌿 I don't own dogs, I manage a highly specialized (and very strange) executive team. 🐾💼

Apparently Earth has learned how to file a formal request. 😂

Earth walked up with her red bucket, dropped it at my feet in the grass, and just stared at me. No barking. No whining. Just pure eye contact that said:

“I’m thirsty. Here’s the bucket. Fill it, human.”

She’s a beautiful brindle Mastiff Malinois mix, and she’s so smart it shows up in absolutely ridiculous ways. Problem solver? 100%. She identified the need, located the asset, and delivered it to the responsible adult.

I’ve never been managed so efficiently by a dog. I don’t own a dog — I work for one. 💧🐾 🤣

Well… today’s adventure definitely wasn’t on the schedule. 🦅❤️

I had to rescue this beautiful guy from the orchard — which also happens to be one of the places where the dogs get to run, play, explore, and just be dogs.

Thankfully, I spotted him before they did because this poor hawk is injured and definitely wasn’t in any condition to fly away or protect himself. And as much as I love my dogs, they’ve never met a hawk before, so I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t have looked at him and thought, “Oh no, an injured friend who needs our help.” 😂 Their instincts would have kicked in, and all they would have seen was PREY.

So… emergency orchard evacuation it was!

I carefully got this gorgeous soul to safety and contacted the bird rescue, but unfortunately they’re closed for new intakes until tomorrow. For tonight, he’s tucked away somewhere safe, quiet, and dark so he can stay as calm as possible and hopefully keep his stress level down. First thing tomorrow morning, I’ll get him to the rescue where the professionals can take over, figure out what’s wrong, and hopefully get him on the road to recovery.

It’s incredible getting to see a bird like this up close. There’s something so powerful and humbling about looking into the eyes of a wild animal that belongs soaring through the sky — especially when, for just a little while, that life has been placed in your hands.

So please send a prayer, some love, and a whole lot of healing energy his way. 🙏❤️

Godspeed, beautiful boy. May tonight simply be a safe little stop along the way, and may you heal quickly, regain your strength, spread those wings again, and return exactly where you belong…
