Join us Saturday August 22 for sorting—it’s a public night, so everyone is welcome. We can number the cows and run four rounds or Rodear, depending on number of participants. Please let us know if you can make it. The sorting will begin at 5:30/6!

Los Vaqueros Members and Riders,
Join us tonight for sorting—it’s a public night, so everyone is welcome. We’ll be numbering the cows and running four rounds.the sorting will begin at 6 tonight!
• Members: $25
• Non-members: $40
• Snack bar will be open
We also had a great turnout on Thursday for the roping class with Steve Hanft—thank you to everyone who came out. Be sure to mark your calendars for the next class on September 3.

Happy Wednesday, Los Vaqueros members and riders! 🤠

We’re changing things up this Saturday! Join us for Cattle Work under the lights, starting at 6:30 PM.
With the heat this weekend, we’re moving into the evening so everyone can ride and hang out in cooler, more comfortable conditions.

We’d LOVE to see you all out there—bring your horse, and let’s make it a fun Saturday night under the arena lights! 🐎💡

What an amazing weekend at the Fourth Annual Cowboy Challenge at Los Vaqueros Arena.
It truly takes a team to make an event like this happen.
Thank you to our clinician Mary Rose, all of our volunteers and crew, and a special thank you to Joe Harmon, Suzanne Hodges, Kim Melillo, and Rick Samuelson for all their hard work preparing the arena and keeping everyone fed.
And of course, thank you to all of our participants for bringing the energy.
We couldn’t have done it without you.
We’re already excited for our September event with Mary Rose, the final in our belt buckle series at Los Vaqueros. We hope to see you all there.

We’re gearing up for a great weekend at the arena. While turnout for the Cowboy Challenge is a bit lower than expected, there’s still time to join in—we would love to see more of you participate.
Today, we’ll be hosting a Cowboy Challenge Clinic from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. If you’re interested, just come down to the arena and we’ll get you signed up.
Tonight’s Sorting Jackpot runs from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Entry is $50 for members and $60 for non-members. Come out, ride, and enjoy the evening—Rick Samuelson will be cooking burgers as well.
The Cowboy Challenge event will take place tomorrow starting at 9:00 AM. It’s not too late to sign up, so come be part of the fun.
We’re looking forward to a great turnout tonight and an exciting weekend ahead.
