Deity Animal Rescue and Foundation Deity Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit rescue organization based in Los Angeles. Dogs saved her so it’s only right that she save dogs.

We amplify the stories of shelter dogs, support life-saving spay and neuter programs, and help vulnerable animals find safety, visibility, and second chances. When bringing dogs into Deity we do not discriminate on age, breed or ease of placement. Rather, we choose dogs based on temperament and potential to be wonderful companions. We adhere to a comprehensive adoption process which includes finding the best possible match for each dog and performing home checks. Our mission is to educate and empower people of all ages as to how they can make a difference in the lives of animals in their communities. We target the importance of pet sterilization, animal welfare, and why it is a good idea to adopt from a shelter or rescue rather than buy from a breeder.

Ellen rescued Vida, the first official Deity dog, in 2007. Lindsay joined Ellen in her efforts when a major health scare made her reevaluate life and the gift of health and happiness. Dogs served a key roll in her recovery and she strives to share the healing power of dogs with others.

His name is Max. And he’s as magical as Sherry says he is. Amplifying Max here to get him seen. And rescued. Or adopted. Who wouldn’t want this squish next to them for a lifetime. He’s the boy dreams are made of.

If you’re interested in Max, please reach out to Sherry Sherry Brewer . She can help facilitate a meet and greet.

Deity cannot rescue all of the dogs. No rescue can. But what we can - and will do - is use this gift of a platform to get dogs seen. And saved.

Village. Please help Max find his True Love. You have the superpower to propel this boy through an oppressive algorithm. Please. Like, comment and share Max. He deserves a Happily Ever After.

Sherry, thank you for always being there. 🤍✨

Her heart. Her soul. Her goodness. That’s all I have to say on that.

Oh, one more thing. She needs a home. Her name is Sarabi. And the family who ends up adopting her will 💯 consider themselves the luckiest family to ever occupy this earth and will wonder how they existed without her in their lives. Sarabi is 6 years old and our resident Queen Bea at foster mama’s Karla Schneider Boss .

Village, please do your thing. AMPLIFY. Because the sooner Sarabi finds her Forever, the sooner we can rescue another. It’s simple math.
