Update on Alecia. She is still undergoing treatments and some days are still pretty rough. But yesterday was a good day. 5 year old Alecia rode Dutch in 2 classes at a horse show ALL BY HERSELF. One was a rail class and the other was 2 times around over ground poles.

From Alecia’s Family:

There are no words for what our amazing horse community has done for our family. The past seven months have been the most challenging and stressful time of our lives. We have watched our little girl go through things that no child should ever have to go through and it has been devastating, both personally and financially. We want to thank everyone, from the very special people who organized the Ride4Alecia show to the volunteers and sponsors and vendors and participants and spectators. This event will have huge impacts for our family, and we are truly grateful to each and every person who came out to support our little girl. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Bridget O'Neill how can we ever thank you enough? From the day I stopped by and pitched an idea to you and you listened and came up with ideas to make it so much better. You are an AMAZING woman. You and Misfits Equestrian:
*Created and maintained all the pre-registration docs
*Prepared the show facility
*Repaired and painted all the fences
*Set up the jump course
*Drug and re-drug all the arenas until footing was perfect
*Set up the sound systems and got them working
*Encouraged us to add gaming and then ran it!
*Schooled, showed and coached in the middle of all this
*Smiled and fixed and emailed and managed all the details
*And all this on top of your already busy schedule.
