Found on September 5, 2026. Female hound/beagle. She was found wandering South of Big Platte Lake on Eagle Point Rd headed toward Ingleston Drive. She has a collar, but no tags. She is microchipped, but is not registered. If this is your dog, or you are aware of someone missing a similar pet, please contact the Benzie County Animal Shelter at (231) 882-9505. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. ***Please refrain from posting negative comments.***

Unfortunately, we have been unable to establish contact with the owner due to a lack of phone number and license information on file. The dog will be taken to the Benzie County Animal Shelter.
