When our friends from Elrecs come to visit they get put to work - so happy to be part of this organization - check out their page to learn more about the impact hat they are having on small rescues like ours - it takes a village and eventually your village finds you! Safe travels!

For all of you who have reached out - the donkeys are not happy with this rain but they are all warm and dry out of this storm.... us not so much ... it has been an adventure. We have had to carry chainsaws 100% of the time to cut our way into the farm and through roads and we have some storm damage that will need to be managed when safe but miraculously we have kept power!
We have lost some trees and large limbs that have damaged some fence and dented Miss HammyCakes roof but she is fine and so are her little goat brothers.

The wind is worse in our area today than yesterday so crossing my fingers for no more damage - it has been an adventure this weekend for sure - maybe we will get some sleep tonight
