Despite all the area power outages, it’s business as usual at BCPH today (thank you, Generac!). The staff, however will require some xtra grace. Because: no power=no coffee=NO BUENO. And it’s reeeeally hard to do your hair with a headlamp on.

Who doesn’t love a good before & after?

Did you know as our pets age they are more likely to get some form of dental disease? This can lead to trouble eating, pain and even cause bacteria to spread to major organs like the heart and kidneys. As with most diseases prevention is important but sometimes intervention is just as important!

Removing infected and painful teeth and cleaning away tartar and debris can go a long way in making our pets more comfortable and protecting them from chronic diseases.

An added bonus is their breath smells better for all those kisses they wanna give you!

Did you know that veterinarians are required to learn about a wide variety of species in vet school? Regardless of their career intentions, they have to learn about livestock and wildlife, as well as pets! Because the curriculum is so comprehensive, it's difficult to even get IN to vet school!

Today we had a visit from Brendan Little. Brendan is a biology major at University of Cincinnati , currently working in emergency medicine, gaining clinical experience for his vet school application. It was exciting to share a little of what we do with this next gen vet! Best of luck, Brendan!
