This needs to be talked about because much like a Lyme positive result, a positive f***l test does not mean that there’s a problem.

At this point you know that a positive Lyme test does NOT mean an active infection, it simply means exposure. No symptoms? Then move on with your day.

The same can be said for a positive f***l test. If your dog does not have symptoms but his test came back positive then the more holistic approach (depending on which parasite it is) would be to sit back and let it play out. If symptoms appear then a dewormer may be in order.

The immune system is why animals survive in the wild. It’s their ONLY defense. Domestic animals also have that but they also have humans in their lives that interfere FAR TOO MUCH.

Don’t fear worms. They are part of our environment. They are part of our lives.

Can they become an issue? Yes. But let’s not poison our dogs every month because they MIGHT pick up worms.

If they pick up worms and it becomes a problem then symptoms will appear.

THAT’S when you step in.

This particular “door exit” was pure chaos. Typically Rocki (dog on leash) is not home with us cuz she goes to work with her dad. Her and her daughter Rio like to run like crazy once they get outside but Rocki then comes up lame so I keep her on the leash until everyone calms down.

Knocking over the flower pot was a bit “extra” today. I promise their typical door exit is much more organized but I failed them today 😅

WHY I FEED VOLHARD NDF2 🐾🌿

When you have six dogs, feeding fresh food can feel overwhelming — but I’m not willing to sacrifice quality for convenience.

That’s one of the reasons I love Volhard Natural Diet Foundation 2 (NDF2).
