Lost Cats Oklahoma We are a volunteer-driven, community page dedicated to helping lost cats find their way home by posting online. to 6 p.m., and limited hours on Sunday.

After your cat is added to the PetFbi site, we will get the cat posted on our page as soon as possible - we generally post M-Sat from 8 a.m. TO SEARCH FOR A MISSING OR FOUND CAT: https://www.facebook.com/LostCatsOklahoma/photos/?ref=page_internal&tab=album or Visit https://petfbi.org/search.html #/ and search the map
We do not have enough volunteers to match lost and found posts at this time, so you will have to look through the posts yourself for a match – and remember many cats are found long after they’ve gone missing! Look for your pet in our local shelters, in person and via https://24petconnect.com/
Do NOT place your lost pet’s litter outside as a scent lure. Litter attracts predators and bully cats to the area which can flush your pet further into hiding. Post your lost pet on Craigslist, in both the Lost and Found, and Pets, sections. Check the found pet postings for your cat. Also, post on the neighborhood site, www.Nextdoor.com and on the Neighbors App by Ring: https://ring.com/neighbors. Flyer as large an area as possible and speak to your neighbors personally. Ask for them to check their sheds, garages, or allow you to check yourself. IMPORTANT - WHEN THE CAT IS HOME, HAS BEEN REHOMED OR SURRENDERED, PLEASE CHANGE THE STATUS OF THE CAT YOU POSTED:

🐾 If you have lost a pet, use the Halloween trick-or-treating crowds to spread the word! 🎃

👉 Put up signs:
Place a large, bright, and easily readable lost pet sign with your pet's picture and contact information in your front yard to catch the eye of trick-or-treaters.

👉 Network with Neighbors:
Ask your neighbors to keep an eye out for your missing pet and to contact you immediately with any sightings.

👉 Distribute flyers:
Print your pet's photo and contact details on small flyers or labels to hand out to trick-or-treaters and their parents. If you will be taking your children trick-or-treating, take flyers with you to hand out as you go door to door.

Update 2/6/2025 - we are no longer able to reach SAVE THIS LIFE microchip company - they appear to be shut down - if your pet is registered with them, please be sure to register to another microchip company! There are a few free registries and others that require a small fee! We recommend any of the larger chip companies, those that participate in the AAHA registry. This is imperative to getting your pet home if they go missing!

If your pet's microchip is registered with Save This Life (commonly starting with 991001 or 900164), we strongly recommend registering it with another microchip company.
As of mid-January 2025, accessing owner information or notifying families of found pets linked to Save This Life has become increasingly difficult. We hope this issue is resolved soon, but in the meantime, ensuring your pet’s microchip is linked to a reliable and responsive registry is crucial for reuniting with them quickly if they ever go missing.
