Consistency is key when teaching your pet! 🐶🐱

Whether you have a new puppy learning the basics or an older pet working on an old habit, a little consistency can go a long way.

🐾 Use the same words: Make sure everyone in the household uses the same command. If you use “Off,” don’t have someone else saying “Get down.”

🐾 Keep it short: A few minutes of practice at a time can help keep your pet focused and engaged.

🐾 Reward right away: Praise or reward your pet immediately when they do something correctly. This helps them understand exactly what you want them to do.

Most importantly, be patient and keep practicing! Positive, consistent training helps build good habits and strengthens the bond between you and your pet. ❤️

Ever heard of a Savannah Cat? 🐱

These unique cats have some seriously wild roots! Savannah Cats were created by crossing an African serval with a domestic cat, giving them a striking appearance and some pretty amazing abilities.

🦘 They can jump up to 8 feet high!
💦 Many love playing in water.
🐕 They can be trained to walk on a leash and even play fetch.
📏 They are considered the tallest domestic cat breed.
❤️ And they often form strong, loyal bonds with their families.

Savannah Cats are also classified by generations (F1, F2, F3, etc.), with earlier generations having more serval ancestry and generally more wild characteristics.

Now that's one cat that definitely doesn't always act like a "typical" house cat! 😹

🐾 Tuesday Tip: Don’t Forget Those Paws! 🐾

Your dog’s paws take a lot of abuse—from hot pavement and rough surfaces to winter weather and everyday adventures. 🐶🐾

Take a few minutes to regularly check your pup’s paws for cuts, cracks, irritation, or anything stuck between their toes. Keeping the hair and nails trimmed can also help keep those paws healthy and comfortable.

And remember: If the pavement is too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws! ☀️🔥
