Soo I have been gone a while, to all those who love our dogs.. I miss you and let me update you with what Ive been up too.
Originally when I got here I had plans on continuing showing, joined the AKC Tuscaloosa kennel club and was showing there and UKC (shows out here are few and far between, basically once a year).
In the last 2 years I have become an EMT, went back to school and now am an Advanced EMT and will likely start Paramedic school shortly.
When we moved to Alabama, we realized quickly people depend on eachother more, there is a huge shortage in EMS. We are on the local rescue squad (5 years ago), and answer 911 calls on my days off the Ambulance.
I have downsized my breeding program and have 4 current adult females. We brought in a new bloodline from AKC showlines, and keep 2 male puppies from that litter 18 months ago. Arlo (smooth hair) and Ace (long coat). I still have Chile from Chris, I have Diamond (Twinkle and Tornados litter born in California, Jellybean (Moo and Tornado) , and new girls Lacy and Moneky (Moo and Chile). I have not been having many litters as I am focused on EMS- I work 2 to 3 24h shifts a week.
I am not trying to compete with anyone. I am my own person and don't have to prove myself.
Our dogs for several Generation are Embarked. We don't currently carry defects that cripple or blind that science has found nor have occurred- for 10 Generations we have had very good outcomes- and people come back for their 2nd and 3rd dog.
We still give our 8 year health Guarantee on our dogs. I still vaccinate, go to the Vets, and let people meet me in person.
There will always be hateful people, and they can sit in their own misery. I choose happiness, and the happiness of my dog families.
