Come enjoy a delicious chicken BBQ while supporting a great cause! This special event benefits the Linden Hall Tuition Assistance Program, helping make a Linden Hall education possible for deserving students.



Each ticket includes ½ BBQ chicken, chips, an applesauce cup, a roll, and a beverage. Gather your family and friends and join us for a tasty meal and a wonderful opportunity to support Linden Hall students!

Our riders had a fantastic day at the Crossroads show on Sunday. Each had beautiful rounds and won some great ribbons. Congratulations to those that qualified for the Commonwealth Junior Amateur Invitational. One more Crossroads show left this season and we are gearing up for the Linden Hall Hunter Derby. So many exciting things ahead for our team.

Come out on Saturday, September 20th for the Second Annual Hunter Derby at Linden Hall on the field. You don’t need a horse to enjoy this fun event! There will be unicorn races and more at this Fall community event. Pick your favorite horse and see what it takes to be champion. Enjoy chicken BBQ, homemade bake sale and raffle baskets to support the community riding program at Linden Hall. Mums will be available to purchase. This event is open to anyone at no cost to spectators.

Get feedback before you make your debut at the Linden Hall Derby! On September 19, Serenity Farms is offering 90-minute group clinics with the derby judge 📋 on the Linden Hall Derby Field the day before our annual event. Groups are matched by skill level. Cost of clinic is $150/rider.

Our clinician for the day is the Hunter Derby Judge, James Morris “r”, who brings years of experience teaching, coaching, and judging within the Hunter/Jumper industry. Growing up as a working student in Massachusetts, he trained with some of the country’s top professionals who instilled in him the importance of helping riders build a strong, effective foundation and developing well-rounded equestrians through quality instruction and supportive coaching.

James graduated from The University of Findlay in Ohio where he was a member of the 2001 IHSA National Championship team. He then joined Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts as the Assistant Director of the Equestrian Center. Serving as their Head IEA Coach and Assistant Coach to the IHSA Team, James coached several National Championship teams and individual riders. James took on the role of Director of Riding at Chatham Hall in Virginia for 9 years and coached the IEA team to three qualifications to the National Championship Finals, placed fourth in 2016, and won Reserve National Champion Team in 2015.

As a USEF “r” Hunter and Jumping Seat Equitation judge, James judges throughout the country at rated USEF, USHJA, IEA, NCEA and IHSA shows. He also serves as lead Examiner for the USHJA Instructor Credential program.

Whether teaching at home, coaching at a competition, or judging in the booth, James shares his knowledge and experience with equestrian athletes from the scholastic and collegiate level through the A circuit. James stays current with industry trends while maintaining the principles of the American Forward Riding System and dedicates attention to the next generation of equestrians.

Beautiful and peaceful 46 acre farm nestled in the Berks County countryside. We specialize in hunter / jumper, but welcome any discipline.
