THIS WEEKEND(!!!) Join us for the 10th Annual Philly Newfapalooza 🐾

For anyone unfamiliar, Newfapalooza is a Newfie meetup but all breeds & humans without dogs are welcome too! There will be brews by , food trucks, and vendors. will have tables for information, a couple activities, and fundraising. You can picnic and hangout from open to close!

It’s been over a year since our last meetup so I want to give a friendly reminder that most Newfs don’t often see other dogs their size - let alone over 100 of them! This can be overwhelming to some and, like humans, it is only natural that they may not like everyone they encounter. That’s okay! This is why I intentionally keep this a leashed event. Be patient with your pups. If you are attending with a younger dog and/or have a long drive, I recommend taking a walk and letting off some steam before you enter. Be attentive to your dog. There are lot’s of distractions and you know your newf best. If you notice them feeling hesitant or uncomfortable, respect their boundaries, give them some space and let them warm up a bit. At that same rate, if your dog is extra friendly - be mindful of that too! As our wonderful trainer used to say “sniff, sniff, walk away.” This is a chance to teach your dog that they don’t need to get rowdy with every dog they meet. &, of course, have fun!!

A couple simple notes:
- dogs must be leashed at all times (non-extendable, 6ft or less)
- dogs must be promptly cleaned up after
- the event is free to attend and all ages are welcome
- outside food and alcohol is prohibited
- dogs are not permitted in the PYO orchard fields or market

‘I bought a Sun Dog firehose toy for my dog at the Stotesbury regatta and he LOOOVES it! He played with it all the time and it still looks brand new. Buying one for my friend’s dog - he is also a toy destroyer :) ‘
