Our sweet sensitive soul, Penny, is really hoping she can find her people soon and learn what “forever” is really supposed to mean!

This gorgeous girl has sadly been bounced around from home to home and is now living in her foster’s laundry room with her 2 sisters who like to bully her. She says she’d give anything to have more space and the attention that she’s desperately craving!

Penny would like a laid back, quiet home where she can relax and soak up the love. She’d prefer to be the only cat, but she should be able to adjust ok with slow intros.

She loves to be pet (although she’s been nicknamed Goldilocks because if you pet her too much or not enough, she’ll give you a little love bite 😹), is fine with being held, and greets you with such love that it’ll make your day every day!

Please share Penny with anyone you know who might need a 90% sweet, 10% sassy calico in their life 🖤🤍🧡

“People really gave money to help cats like me get vet care? These Town Cats humans sure are nice!” - Caviar, rescued from a local business after having litter after litter (never again!) and now possibly stomatitis

Thank you SO very much to all of our amazing supporters for helping us raise so much for our Labor Day medical fundraiser. An extra special thank you to Tracey Pictou for reaching out with the idea and matching $1,000! We are just so blown away at everyone’s generosity and appreciate you all so much.

We have so many upcoming vet appointments (Caviar included!) which the funding will go toward. Now we just need more fosters so we can continue helping more in need!

Update: We met our goal thanks to the most incredible supporters ever! Thank you all SO much! We now have enough for Piggy’s eye removal/dental and Saber’s continued care. We still have over 250 other cats and will always appreciate any future donations as well. (Or if you want to come adopt and help us cut that number in half, that’d be amazing too!) THANK YOU ALL!

We just got the best surprise! An extremely generous donor has offered to match up to $1,000 for a Labor Day medical fundraiser! 🙀 (Thank you so much, Tracey Pictou, you’re absolutely amazing!)

If you’ve seen our recent posts, you know we have had quite a few expensive vet bills lately. Amputations, eye removals, dentals, trying to save kitties from crossing the rainbow bridge… while the costs are overwhelming, if we didn’t step up to save these cats then they would still be suffering out on the streets.

We would be so incredibly grateful to anyone who would be willing to donate even $1 to help us get to our goal. If you already donated toward our last fundraiser, thank you so much!

$2,000 would go such a long way toward saving the neglected and medically needy cats of our community, and we’re so fortunate to have supporters who can help us make that happen ❤️

Yesterday was tough. 4 cats had to go to the ER for separate issues and 3 heartbreakingly crossed the rainbow bridge. It’s felt like one devastating loss after another lately.

This was our sweet old man, Stellan, who was FIV+ and sadly had end stage kidney failure. While it’s so sad to lose him, it brings us comfort knowing that we are able to provide a safe and loving space for cats like him to live out the rest of their years.

A lot of our sanctuary cats may have been abandoned or unwanted at one point, but they all know nothing but love and security once they come through the doors of our catios into their new lives.

We’d be grateful to anyone who wanted to come visit the kitties at our sanctuary, Blufrog Farm, to help us give them all the love they deserve while they’re with us.

Please hug your pets a little harder today for us ❤️

“So I told them not to say anything, but now that I heard we didn’t raise enough to cover all these darn body parts of mine that need to be removed… did you know I cried myself to sleep after getting bullied on Facebook a few weeks ago? My feelings were super duper hurt 😿

How about a compromise to anyone that had something negative to say about me? If you asked if I was a rodent, said you’d be too afraid to own me, or that I belonged in a horror movie, then I’ll accept an apology in the form of a donation please!

Tuesday brought a lot of relief to 2 of our cats, Piggy and Miracle, but it sure hurt our medical fund!

Piggy had to have his eye removed and Miracle had to have part of her tail amputated. Just those 2 surgeries cost $900, and now we also have to schedule a dental for Piggy that is estimated to cost $800.

We try not to fundraise on here too often, but this summer has been brutal. We just spent $1500 right before this to try to save a kitten who sadly ended up crossing the rainbow bridge, and are currently treating multiple cats for FIP which costs $2-3k each! 🙀

We’ve had so many medical issues and devastating losses behind the scenes these past few months, and we would be extremely grateful if anyone would be willing to contribute any small amount to help us be able to keep saving kitties like these 2 who really needed us. Volunteering, fostering, adopting, or just sharing our posts are all extremely helpful too! More info can be found at towncats.net. Thank you to anyone who can support us in any way! 😻

Posy might be just a little baby, but he sure is a biiiig boy! This cutie just turned 5 months old and is already 8 lbs 🙀

He’s almost double the size of his sisters and really needs a home before this becomes an Alice in Wonderland situation and he grows so big he gets trapped in his foster home… (that came from him, he’s a jokester!)

This sweet boy loves to be held and cuddled and is a total purr machine. He’ll even stop his play sessions with his siblings and other kitten friends just to run over to you to ask to be picked up!

Posy would do best in a home with another playful cat, or adopted with another kitten. He really hopes he can find his forever home soon! 🤍

Taken to the vet to be euthanized, simply for being unwanted after 7 years.

Can you imagine how poor Ernie feels having the only home she’s ever known not only kick her out but also try to take her life when she still has so many years left to live?!

Thank goodness for the kind vet who refused and called us. Now we just need a special adopter willing to step up and show her what forever is really supposed to mean.

This sweet girl would prefer to be the only cat in the home, and would be a perfect companion for a senior looking for a one and only. As a “senior” herself, she would be covered under our senior program, where we would cover all future medical expenses.

Her foster says, “Ernie (Ernestine) enjoys being with her person. If you're on the loveseat, she's there. She lays with you on the bed. She's never scratched the furniture. She's content being lazy most of the time! She does play with her toy mouse. She's looking for her forever home and will be the perfect lap cat.”

Please share her with anyone you know who might just need her as much as she needs them 🖤
