Courtesy Post - Unc needs a new home! Unc is a young-ish adult male dark tabby. He is incredibly friendly with dogs and people. He hasn't been around many other cats, but he'd probably be fine with them, too. He comes with a 30-pound bag of food and all the essentials to go to his new home. He will need to have a vet visit to get up on shots, but the Rehome link is offering a free vet visit. His owner is going to be homeless soon and wanted to rehome Unc since it's not fair that he would live in a car with him. Can you open your home to Unc? If so, DM Town Cats and we will share his owner's information with you.

Courtesy Post - Charlie and Lucy need new homes! The owners are moving abroad and want to rehome these 2 adorable cats. They can each go their own home and do not have to be adopted together.

Lucy is a DSH dark tabby with white that is 9 years old. She is a little shy at first but once she feels at home you won't be able to keep her off your lap. She loves to have her back and ears rubbed. Lucy is a very quiet and reserved little lady and would make an excellent couch buddy.

Charlie is a DMH orange tabby who has a healthy appetite. Just say the word "snack" and he comes running. He is 7 years old and always wants to be around his human companion. He'd make a great solo cat.

On Global Cat Day, we’re extra grateful that we’re able to have a sanctuary to house so many homeless kitties!

Not every cat is adoptable into an indoor home, so when a “feral” cat has nowhere to go, Blufrog Farm is often the only option. We’re happy to be that safe space for those cats in need. Since we run on volunteers and donations, we are beyond appreciative of the people that allow us to operate!

Did you know that cats get breast cancer also!! Cancer effects about 30-40% of cancers in cats. Mammary gland cancers make up about 30% of those cancers. This makes up one third of the most common type of cancers in cats. Spaying a female cat reduces her risk of developing breast cancer significantly. Another reason to spay your cat! Spaying prevents unwanted pregnancies plus reduces the cancer risk.

Did you know we have a Seniors 4 Seniors program? It’s the purrfect way for a senior to have the love and companionship of a cat while not having to worry about the medical expenses.

S4S allows seasoned cat owners to foster a senior cat as long as they are able to properly care for the cat. Town Cats retains ownership of the cat and stays in contact with the owner by monthly visits, and facilitates and pays for any necessary vet care.

This program is a win-win for some of our older cats and seniors who want to have a pet but need a little assistance. Please share this info with anyone in their 70s or older who you think would benefit from the love of a kitty ❤️

Just imagine, you could’ve spent a rainy Sunday snuggling one (or both!) of these adorable faces 😻

Shakira and Athena are 4 month old sisters who are so sweet and playful. And it’s definitely an added bonus that they’re just the absolute cutest!

They’d love to go to a home either together or with another cat they could play with as they grow up. These girls really hope they can find their forever homes soon!

UPDATE - Pasha has a new home. He has been placed. Thanks for your responses!

Courtesy Post - Pasha needs a new home! Pasha is a male 3-year-old Scottish long haired gray tabby. The family is moving and unable to take Pasha with them. Up to date on shots, neutered and no current health issues, except for removal of a bladder stone in June. As a post-surgical precaution, he's getting bottled water instead of tap water. A little shy at first he warms up quickly and is a ball full of energy, loves to play games, watch birds through the window, and runs up and down the steps. Loves to be petted on your lap. He is a very sweet, lovely cat that is gentle and does well with children and other cats but has not interacted with dogs. He is a fulltime indoor cat. if interested, please direct message Town Cats.

Or something like that 😉 This is one Jolene that Dolly Parton would have actually loved!

This gentle fluffball is SO incredibly sweet and just wants to be loved. She’s only about 2 and great with other cats, even seeking out ones she just met to cuddle with. She really hopes she can find her forever home soon!

Some good news for the day 😺 we got the missing kitten from yesterday’s post!

He had traveled a good distance from his brother and found the perfect tree hole we couldn’t access, but thanks to a Good Samaritan listening for his cries and one of our volunteers, the little guy is now trapped and safe!

They will hopefully go to a foster this week where they’ll get the love and care they deserve ❤️
