Do you love animals and want to make a real difference every day? The Worcester County Humane Society in Berlin, MD is looking for reliable, compassionate, and hard-working individuals to join our shelter team! Come work where your future coworkers have paws.
📋 What You Will Do
* Feed and water animals daily according to specific dietary needs.
* Clean and sanitize animal enclosures, kennels, and cages.
* Exercise, walk, and play with dogs and cats to keep them happy.
* Monitor animal health and check for signs of illness or injury.
* Provide love and attention to support their emotional well-being.
⚖️ Job Requirements
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
*Reliable transportation, in all types of weather.
* Must have open availability (includes weekends and holidays).
* Must be physically capable of comfortably lifting 50 lbs.
* Good communication, reading comprehension, and listening skills.
* Ability to handle a physical, fast-paced environment.
* Experience is a plus, but we are willing to cross-train the right person!
