Meet Captain Car Battery! 🥹❤️

He's 1.5 years old, a big boy, and an absolute sweetheart!

He came to us with his brothers Spaghetti and Lint Trap and his sister Pickles. And yes, those are their actual names. 😂 They came from animal control, so we have no idea what the story is behind the names, but they were too funny to change! Of course, you can always rename your new kitty after adoption.

Captain Car Battery LOVES attention, gets along great with other cats, and apparently has never met a kitty he didn't like! He can be a little shy at first, but give him a little time to feel safe and you'll see just how sweet and affectionate he is.

Come say hi! We have indoor, free-roaming cat areas, so you're always welcome to stop by, meet everyone, or just hang out with some cats!

Always thankful for the support! Looking forward to 2027!

We are always so happy to host our annual Waggin’ Dine and Donate to benefit the animals at the Worcester County Humane Society. This year was filled with live music from Chris Diller music , booths with some amazing local vendors and so many pups we lost count! We raised over $3,000! So Thank you to everyone that came out! Look for 2027’s event to continue to get bigger, host more vendors with more donations to the shelter!

Then vs. Now: The Ultimate Foster Failure Story! 🐾❤️
THEN: Meet Sulley. When he first arrived at the shelter in July, he was a pint-size guy, going through a really rough patch. An unknown skin issue had left his entire torso and the bridge of his nose completely hairless, pink, and raw. Looking at him, you could see a mix of uncertainty and resilience in his bright blue eyes, like a tiny, spiky-haired, half-shaved mythical creature. He was just a foster pup looking for a soft place to heal.
NOW: Meet Wally—the official, certified, 100% Foster Failure! 🎉
That temporary pit stop turned into a forever home real quick. Today, his skin has completely transformed. As you can see from his gorgeous, fluffy coat, his fur has made an incredible comeback, filling in with beautiful grey and white markings (A Pomsky!)The only thing that hasn't changed is those striking blue eyes and his love for lounging comfortably on the couch. Wally traded his shelter ID number and name for a lifetime of premium couch real estate, and we wouldn't have it any other way!

Meet Sadie! 🐾💕
Sadie is our newest arrival, and she’s about 5 months old. We think she’ll be medium to large when fully grown.
She’s a super sweet, loving girl who’s still learning to feel comfortable around new people. She can be a little shy at first, but she’s slowly gaining confidence and showing more of her personality every day.

🥯 Bagel is a simple guy. He likes car rides, attention, and being told he's a good boy.
He's sweet, goofy, playful, and a big fan of attention. He's also been a pretty great car companion!
Bagel is 6 years old. He has a nice medium energy level, enjoys his downtime, and is currently working on shedding a few extra pounds.
He's been showing us more of his silly personality, and it's been fun getting to know this guy. One thing we've learned? Bagel seems especially happy when he's getting love and attention.
If Bagel sounds like your kind of guy, come spend a little time with him. We think he'd enjoy the company. 🤎

YAY!!! TINA GOT ADOPTED!
Today was finally Tina's day! She officially left the shelter with her new family and started her next chapter. We are beyond happy for this sweetheart!
As you may remember, Tina wanted a family so badly that she basically coordinated her own photoshoot with a little help from shelter staff - doing everything she could to get herself some exposure. 📸🥰
And her efforts paid off!Tina is going to a family who will love her, spoil her, and give her the happy life she was working so hard to find.
Congratulations, Tina. You did it!
