We get this question all the time:
“Can we reserve separate kennels for each dog?”
Short answer: You don’t need to — and your dogs don’t want you to.
At Quinn’s Shamrock Kennels, we’re built for family boarding, because their comfort comes first. Dogs who live together are companions. They sleep together, play together, and rely on each other for comfort. Separating them during boarding adds unnecessary stress, and many will even try to get back to each other, which can lead to injuries. Keeping them together keeps them safe, relaxed, and confident.
To give you a visual: here’s one of our indoor pens holding a German Shepherd, a Belgian Malinois, and a full‑size Bernedoodle — plus two large beds — with room to spare. And remember, the outdoor area attached to each pen is even bigger than the inside.
Your dogs deserve a place that feels familiar, calm, and comfortable. That’s why we do things the way we do. We are built differently. 💚
