Meet Jessie!

Jessie is a Boston Terrier who came from the wonderful Risa at Lujan Ranch who has a profile on good dog. She is super playful and very sweet. She loves people and chasing butterflies in the yard.

My friend and I got a flat tire in Bakersfield going to pick her up and waited hours in the heat for a tow; we were super miserable, but everything changed when we saw Jessie later, our moods were beyond lifted. She adjusted very quickly to her new home and has been growing like a w**d.

Her favorite treats are dried fish and collagen puffs. Our favorite place to walk is Albany Bulb. She hates the retractable leash right now, but we are working on it.

Today is International Day! It’s hard to trust when you can’t see, so here’s to all the troopers out there, as well as the owners who help their pups on the daily! Blind dogs tend to use other senses just like humans, and are able to navigate familiar areas due to memory. They do have to adjust to new environments, such as the vet. We always help these pets navigate around the exam room so they don’t bump into walls! 🐶❤️
