The need is real.

Many local families are stretching well past their budgets to keep their pets fed, and some are feeding strays too. Because of you, they don’t have to choose between their own needs and their animals’.

This adorable scruffy mutt is Charlie!

Charlie and his band of misfits have found themselves on several adventures in the Western part of the county in recent weeks.

This bunch couldn't be contained, especially with the "little guys" as their ring leaders.

Charlie is ready to retire from being on the run, and is looking for a home where he can have plenty of treats, comfy beds, and lots of attention.

Charlie was BFFs with a 230 pound dog, his brother, and two goats.

Safe to say this little dude is pretty well socialized!

Charlie is a very sweet and personable little guy! They made a lot of friends on their adventures - from kids, to adults, to random animals!

Charlie is around 30-35 pounds, but is SUPER short and stocky. (Think Basset-hound disguised as scruffy terrier.)

Saturday's Doodle Romp brought plenty of happy paws and generous hearts together—and raised over $4,500 for the Humane Society of Morgan County West Virginia! 🎉🐶

Every romp, wag and donation will help support shelter animals waiting for their own happy endings. ❤️

A big thank-you to Fox Creek Farm Goldendoodles & Bernedoodles, Briedé Family Vineyards, and everyone who joined in, donated and made this day so special. You turned a fun afternoon into food, care and hope for animals in need!

Havana has been here since late Spring/early Summer. 🥲

She is STILL looking for her forever home!

This girl is a staff and volunteer favorite.

She has been introduced to a variety of dogs, and has tested well!

She's met (respectful) children and has been very mild mannered.

She also has been totally non-reactive to cats in our care.

She is lower to medium energy.

She has small spurts of energy, then is content to lounge around all day.

She is going to make a great companion for a lucky person or family!

If you're interested in Havana, reach out!

🐾 One happy home. Two lucky brothers! ❤️

Blaze has been ADOPTED—and he’ll get to join his recently adopted brother, Orlando! We’re thrilled these two will share their next chapter together, surrounded by a family to call their own.

Thank you to their adopters for opening their hearts and home to both boys. Happy tails, Blaze and Orlando! 🏡🐈🐈
