Paws Claws & Stalls Pet Lodge is excited to be joining the 304 Wild Hogs & Pentoney Brothers Trunk or Treat this Saturday! 🧡🖤

We’ll be handing out goodies for the kiddos, but we haven’t forgotten about your four-legged family members! 🐶🐾

While pets are not permitted at the event, we’ll have special doggy treats for you to take home to your furry best friends! After all, they deserve a little Halloween fun, too! 🦴🎃

🌧️🐾 Rainy Days Call for a Little Extra Brain Power! 🧠🐶

Rainy weather doesn’t always allow for the outdoor adventures our guests love, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop!

We’re LOVING our new SodaPup enrichment mats here at Paws Claws & Stalls Pet Lodge! ❤️🐾

When rainy days leave our furry guests with a little extra built-up energy, we turn to mental enrichment to help keep those busy minds working!

These lick mats encourage natural licking behaviors, provide mental stimulation, and give our pups something fun and rewarding to focus on. 🐶

🌙 They’re also a wonderful way to wind down in the evenings! After a day of excitement, a little mental exercise can help our guests relax and settle in for a restful night’s sleep. 💤

Because sometimes wearing out their brains is just as important as wearing out their paws! 🐾❤️

🐾❤️ MEET THE PCS PACK — LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, SAY HELLO TO RACHEL! ❤️🐾

We’re wrapping up our Meet the PCS Pack introductions with a familiar face who’s been loving on your furry family members for over a year now! 🐶🐱

If you’ve been part of our PCS family for a while, chances are you’ve already met Rachel! But there’s so much more to her than the smiling face you see at the lodge, and we thought it was time for everyone to get to know her a little better! ❤️

🐾 HOW DID RACHEL BECOME PART OF THE PCS FAMILY?

Rachel joined us in Spring 2025 while looking for a career change that would allow her to follow her love for animals. What started as a new direction in life has turned into something she’s truly passionate about!

And as you’ll soon find out, her dreams involving animals go far beyond the Pet Lodge! 🥹

🐶🐱 MEET HER FURRY FAMILY!

Rachel has quite the crew waiting for her at home!

🐾 Maverick — Her Great Pyrenees, a big, lovable sweetheart!

🐾 Atlas — Her Saint Bernard, another gentle giant with a heart just as big as his paws!

🐱 Journey — Her mischievous kitty who has a very special connection to PCS! Journey was once a stray who found her way to our Pet Lodge and ended up finding her forever home with Rachel! ❤️

It’s probably no surprise that Rachel has a HUGE soft spot for giant breeds. The bigger the baby, the more there is to love! 🥰

💕 WHAT DOES SHE LOVE MOST ABOUT WORKING AT PCS?

Getting to know all the different personalities that walk through our doors!

Rachel especially enjoys one-on-one playtime and walks because they give her the opportunity to build a special bond with each pet. That way, when our repeat guests return for another Pawcation, they already have a familiar friend waiting for them!

And speaking of returning guests, nothing makes her happier than seeing how excited they are to come back! 🐾❤️

🤣 SOMETHING SURPRISING SHE’S LEARNED?

Apparently, chicken isn’t every dog’s best friend! 🐔😂

After caring for so many different guests, Rachel has discovered that quite a few dogs don’t tolerate chicken very well. Just another reminder that every pet has their own unique needs!

🎓 DID YOU KNOW RACHEL ONCE HAD A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CAREER PATH?

Rachel originally attended college to become a Respiratory Therapist!

After college, she realized that wasn’t where her heart truly belonged. Her passion for animals led her in a different direction, and now she has an even bigger dream…

❤️ To one day open her very own animal rescue clinic! 🐾

We love that her passion for helping animals extends beyond the pets already fortunate enough to have loving homes!

🎸 WHEN SHE’S NOT AT THE LODGE…

Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, loving on Maverick, Atlas, and Journey, and playing guitar! 🎶

She’s also made some pretty special memories here at PCS, including getting to watch her own dogs play and make friends with some of our furry guests!

You’d find her heading straight for the POND SWIM! 😎💦

A demanding cat wins every time!

Because, as Rachel puts it, “You don’t wanna know what happens if you don’t!” 🫣😂

If your pet comes home with a little extra affection, there’s a good chance Rachel had something to do with it! 😂❤️

She’s known for giving out plenty of kisses, having little conversations with our guests, and making sure they know just how loved they are.

❤️ WHAT DOES RACHEL WANT OUR CLIENTS TO KNOW?

In her own words:

“They are loved like they’re one of mine when they are here! From kisses and ‘I love yous’ when I have to leave them, to the fun we have at playtime! My heart loves every animal that walks through our doors!” ❤️

And that’s exactly the kind of heart we love having on our team.

Rachel has been part of our PCS family for over a year, and during that time she’s gotten to know so many of your pets, their little quirks, their favorite activities, and all the things that make them special.

From our tiniest guests to our biggest gentle giants, Rachel brings genuine affection, patience, and a whole lot of kisses to the care she provides.

We’re thankful to have her as part of our team and excited to see where her passion for animals takes her in the future! ❤️

🐾❤️ MEET THE PCS PACK — SAY HELLO TO ANGEL (AKA MIMI)! ❤️🐾

You may not see her very often, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t busy behind the scenes! 🌅🐶

While most of us are still tucked into bed, Angel is already at Paws Claws & Stalls Pet Lodge, getting our furry guests ready for their day! From early-morning potty breaks to serving breakfast and making sure everyone starts their morning with a little love, she’s one of the helping hands that keeps our lodge running! 🐾☀️

We thought it was time to introduce the face behind some of those early-morning tail wags!

💕 MEET ANGEL — BUT YOU CAN CALL HER MIMI!

Angel has always had a special place in her heart for animals. Their loyalty, unconditional love, and unique personalities are just a few reasons she enjoys caring for them.

For her, joining the PCS family is an exciting new chapter and an opportunity to spend her mornings doing something meaningful!

🐶🐱 MEET HER FURRY FAMILY!

Angel’s pets are family, each with their own special personality.

🖤🤎 Electra — Her beloved Rottweiler, who recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈🐾 Electra left some very big paw prints on Angel’s heart, and Rottweilers will forever hold an extra-special place there.

🐱 Her Bobtail Kitty — A little feline with a big personality who apparently hasn’t gotten the memo that he’s a cat! 😂 He seems pretty convinced he’s a dog!

❤️ DOG PERSON OR CAT PERSON?

BOTH! Although dogs might have just a tiny bit more of her heart, especially those big, beautiful Rottweilers! 🐶

🌅 WHAT DOES SHE LOVE MOST ABOUT CARING FOR OUR GUESTS?

Getting to know their individual personalities and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away.

Whether she’s preparing breakfast or spending a little extra time with a guest who needs reassurance, Angel enjoys helping make the Pet Lodge feel like a home away from home.

Angel loves spending time with her family and grandbabies! ❤️

She also enjoys crafting, working on her online business, learning new things, and finding ways to keep life interesting.

Miss Koda is getting those paws warmed up and ready for a special Birthday Woodland Walk here at Paws Claws & Stalls Pet Lodge! 🌳🐕💗

After a little fresh air, sniffing adventures, and birthday fun, this sweet girl will be ready for a much-needed beauty rest nap! 😴👑💤

Because what’s a birthday pawcation without a little adventure, lots of love, and some well-deserved pampering?! 🐾🎂

🐾❤️ MEET THE PCS PACK — GET TO KNOW KELSEY! ❤️🐾

You may already recognize this familiar face, but we thought it was time for a proper introduction! 🐶

Kelsey has been part of the Paws Claws & Stalls Pet Lodge family since June 2025, and she’s bringing years of animal experience, a whole lot of love, and apparently a personalized soundtrack for every dog she meets! 🎶😂

🐾 HOW DID KELSEY FIND HER WAY TO PCS?

Having spent much of her life working with dogs and horses, Kelsey knew she wanted to be part of the lodge as soon as she heard a dog boarding facility had opened right down the street!

🐶 MEET HER CREW AT HOME!

Kelsey has four Goldendoodles and one kitty keeping her busy!

🐾 Summer (9) — The queen of side-eye! 👀

🐾 Millie (7) — Sweet as pie, a professional couch potato, and just a little stubborn!

🐾 Oakley (6) — Fetch is LIFE! 🎾

🐾 Cocoa (1) — Athletic, playful, and always ready for cuddles!

🐱 Dexter (8) — The resident house cat!

💕 WHAT MAKES HER HEART MELT?

PUPPIES! 🥹 Nothing makes Kelsey’s day quite like welcoming a puppy for its Pawcation. She still remembers a certain little Jack Russell puppy who was so adorable she couldn’t help but squeal when she first saw him!

And when it comes to favorite breeds? Wiener dogs have her heart, with Doodles coming in right alongside them! 🌭🐶

🧹 BELIEVE IT OR NOT… SHE LOVES CLEANING!

While some people might dread the never-ending dog hair, Kelsey actually finds vacuuming it all up incredibly satisfying! With all those furry guests, she’s certainly in the right place! 😂

❤️ HER FAVORITE PART OF SEEING OUR RETURNING GUESTS

Watching them become more comfortable with every visit! Kelsey loves seeing each pet’s personality shine a little brighter as they get to know us. And those happy, wagging greetings when they recognize their caregivers? Priceless! 🥰

Kelsey admits that every dog has its very own song that she sings to them, and she’s known to carry on full conversations with our furry guests!

Having been around dogs since childhood, Kelsey brings a lifetime of hands-on experience, breed knowledge, and an understanding of the different needs and personalities of our guests.
