With recent reports of “bobcat fever” cases rising in Kentucky, now is a good reminder to keep your cats on year-round flea and tick prevention 🐾💙

This serious tick-borne disease can progress quickly in cats, especially those spending time outdoors. Signs can include fever, lethargy, decreased appetite, and jaundice—early treatment is critical.

Thank you to LEX18 for helping bring awareness to this important issue and educating pet owners in our community.

At Advanced Animal Care Berea, we recommend routine prevention and monitoring your cats closely for any changes. If something feels off, don’t wait to have them seen.

Call Advanced Animal Care Berea to schedule your cat’s visit or talk with our team about prevention options.📲
