Choosing a stud is about so much more than finding a beautiful dog. Breeding is a responsibility and every pairing is an opportunity to thoughtfully plan for the next generation of Standard Poodles 🐩🌟
At Glowing Star, my goal is to better the breed by producing dogs who combine beautiful structure, sound health, exceptional temperaments and versatility. Temperament is one of my biggest priorities. I want confident, stable, people-oriented dogs who can thrive in the show ring, enjoy a variety of sports, explore the world with their families and settle in as loving companions 💗
Thoughtful breeding means looking at the whole dog-evaluating strengths and weaknesses, studying pedigrees, prioritizing appropriate health testing and choosing dogs who complement one another. No dog is perfect and titles alone don't tell the whole story. The goal is to make intentional pairings with the potential to improve the next generation while preserving what makes this breed so special.
This 2027 pairing has been carefully considered with those goals in mind, and I couldn't be more excited for the future of Glowing Star! There's so much research, thought and heart behind these decisions and I can't wait to share more 💫🐩
