What is proprioception?

Proprioception is your body's ability to sense its own position, movement, and force in space, often called the "sixth sense".

This is a skill that many modern dogs don't properly develop. Dogs are descendants of wild animals and in nature they would be climbing, jumping, exploring on all sorts of different surfaces and obstacles.

The modern world that many of our dogs live in is very flat.

Flat sidewalks, leveled off backyards, flat surfaces inside of our homes, none of these provide proper developmental feedback that your dog needs.

One of the things we strive for with dogs here is a whole dog approach to behavior. When the body is in balance, it's easy for the mind to be in balance.
