🌟 UPDATE: COSMO IS HOME SAFE 🌟

🚨 LOST DOG 🚨:
MITCHELL LAKE LOOP/MULKEYTOWN IL

Cosmo has been missing since Friday, May 8 around 6pm from the Mitchell Lake Loop area in Mulkeytown. He is newly adopted into his family and is around 6 months old. He was visiting his grandma who is the mother of his littermate and in pure excitement when they saw each other they ran after each other but also ran off on an adventure. Cosmo’s littermate returned but Cosmo did not.

Please if you see him, do not try to catch him. He’s very scared and nervous and his family is following protocol to safely locate and recover him. Any interference could delay his safe return. If you see him, please call his mom at 618-751-1116 with time and location of sighting.

Please share to reach others in this area and to have them keep a lookout!

Happy national puppy day! Meet RickyShay(Ricochet) everyone. My newest addition, shes a lil bitty thing compared to my big dogs but she keeps them in line just fine.

Would like to give a special shout out to the Men that work for the Browning township they got my road cleared in this inclement weather and from what I hear our roads in the country are better than some of the side streets in town so way to go guys!

PLEASE READ!!!
And share this story everywhere.
JUSTICE FOR BABY BOI
on Friday november 14th 2025 in Valier illinois in Franklin county Boi was killed in cold blood by the next door neighbor. He shot him with a 10 mm home defense slug big enough to kill a grizzly bear.

Here's the rest of the story.. Sheri and her dog Baby boi had just parked their car and entered into her fenced in back yard. Her sister called regarding her mother who they had just buried the Sunday before and Sheri was talking to her on the phone and walked in the shed. She was not in the shed 2 minutes and heard her dog barking she immediately exited the shed looked around for Boi and seen where he had manuevered a gate and slipped throught it. Immediately she took off out the same gate and down the side of the house yelling for the dog the entire time. Once she heard him barking and she realized he wasn't barking at the neighborhood dogs she knew he was barking at the neighbor so she was moving as quickly as she could yelling his name the whole time she was running. Just as she was about to round the corner of the front of her house( which I'm pretty certain he heard her getting closer each time she yelled as she was running) two Shots rang out. She heard her dog whimper and hit the ground then rounded the corner to see him lying on the ground. After animal control and the authorities arrived on the scene the Franklin county illinois sheriff's department told Animal Control they were handling it and to let them handle it basically. Then the sheriff's department proceeded to tell Sheri that as tragic is the incident was there was nothing that they were going to do to the man because he was in fear for his life so he was excused from the law that states you cannot discharge a firearm in town and he was excused from shooting her dog basically. But here's some things that had they investigated a little bit they would have found out but they had no interest in investigating anything. A few months prior there had already been gunshots fired at the dog by the same neighbor, this man had already told another neighbor a few months prior that he was going to kill that dog the first chance he got and had threatened to kill their dogs if they didn't keep them quiet about a year prior. NEVER not one time had there been a report to animal control about him being a nuisance or anything of the sort never had anybody ever called animal control on this dog. The dog was 12 ft away from the man when he shot the dog and he shot him in the side not in the front, if the dog was being a threat to you you would think that dog would be barking at you head on how is a dog a threat to you 12 ft away and from the side. This man thought it was okay for him to take the law it into his own hands when he shot this dog. I dont know what law book hes looking at but no where does any law say its ok to shoot your neighbors dog just because it barks at you. I mean is this person really mentally stable enough to own a firearm. Id say no, i mean imagine if it was an unruly teenager that kept driving by his house with a loud stereo would he have shot them the first chance he got. Yes Boi did get out of his fence and yes he was over there barking at the man while he was trying to bring his trash can in from the curb but this dog has no bite history has never hurt anybody. This man felt okay enough just on Veterans Day a couple days before to try to give him treats thru the fence and apparently had tried times before that because Sheri had found the treats on the ground on that neighbor's side of the yard where the dog didn't eat the treats that he gave him. We can only speculate what this effort to make friends with the dog was about.. Justice has to be served this man should not be able to get away with this I don't care if he's a military veteran or not you still abide by the laws the same as everybody else. It's not ok to just shoot your neighbor's dog. This man never even bothered to make a report to animal control. How is this right? How is this just going to go unpunished and no justice served. So I guess that he doesn't have to follow the rules like everybody else ..I don't know about you guys but I don't agree with it and I'm going to do everything I can in my power to make sure Justice is served. I personally knew Baby Boi and his owner and I have personally kept baby boi in my kennel before I have known him very well from time Sheri got him and he was not an aggressive dog. he was a very sweet dg. The man obviously didn't feel too threatened by him because he had been giving him treats just days before. Please share the story with anybody you can. I want to get this story out there far and wide. Please get it to PETA and any and all animal rights groups that we can. I you can go sit on his front sidewalk and yell dog murderer if youd like. I can't tell you the address but I can tell you that my friend's address is 304 East Flora in valier Illinois and he is the neighbor to the east please feel free. I just need that one person to see and read this, one person whos voice has the power to make a difference. I have contacted the Department of Agriculture and i dont know what if anything they are doing on this case. The message this gives to people is that it's okay to just shoot your neighbor's dog that you're not going to get in trouble you just got to say you were in fear for your life. That is not okay that is not the message we need to be sending out to people. For some of us our dogs are like our kids and our beloved pets deserve justice just as we would. People like this dog murderer,( if u want his name ask me) that are not mentally stable do not deserve to own a firearm. It is a privilege and he is one person that does not deserve that privilege.
