Breaking the Stigma
💔 Born to Survive. Dying to Be Loved. 💔

We see it every day.

Tiny kittens arrive at our doors hungry, sick, dehydrated, covered in fleas, battling parasites, or fighting infections that a simple vet visit could have prevented.

And yet one of the most common things we hear is:

"They're cats. They'll be fine outside."

The statistics tell a different story.

An estimated 75% of kittens born outdoors die before reaching six months of age. That means for every four kittens born outside, only one is likely to survive long enough to reach adulthood.

Think about that.

The playful kitten chasing a leaf.The shy one hiding behind its siblings.The one that purrs the moment it's picked up.

Statistically, three of them won't make it.

Not because they weren't loved.

Not because they didn't matter.

But because they were expected to survive conditions no baby should face.

Some die from parasites.Some from disease.Some from starvation.Some from exposure to extreme temperatures.Some are taken by predators.Some simply disappear.

Most are never counted.

People see the adult cat that survived.

They don't see the three littermates that didn't.

And for the few who beat the odds, the cycle often continues.

A female kitten can become pregnant as young as 4 months old. One unspayed cat and her offspring can produce hundreds of cats in just a few years, creating generation after generation of kittens facing the same heartbreaking odds.

This isn't nature thriving.

It's survival at its harshest.

We see the reality every day.

We see the kittens that arrive too late.We see the kittens fighting for their lives.We see the kittens who never get the chance to grow up.

A kitten isn't born hoping to become a statistic.

A kitten is born wanting warmth.Wanting food.Wanting safety.Wanting comfort.

Wanting to be loved.
