🐾 AUGUST WAS A HUGE MONTH FOR OUR FACILITY! 🐾

When we look at these numbers, we don’t just see statistics. We see lives changed, animals saved, families made whole, and countless hours of people coming together to make a difference. ❤️

During the month of August, we celebrated:

🐱 10 cat and kitten adoptions
🐶 18 dog and puppy adoptions

That’s 28 animals who found homes of their own! 🏡❤️

Our volunteers also showed up in a BIG way, giving us over 132 volunteer hours during the month of August! We truly could not do what we do without the people who give their time, their energy, and their hearts to these animals.

We were also able to intake 26 dogs and puppies and 17 cats and kittens.

But there are still so many waiting.

Our cat room has a long waiting list of cats and kittens who are waiting for their chance to come through our doors. That’s why every adoption matters. The more animals we place into loving homes, the more room we have to help the next animal waiting for us. 🐾

And when we look at the year so far, the numbers are even more incredible:

❤️ 294 adoptions
🐾 298 animals intaken
✂️ 138 animals spayed/neutered

Behind every one of those numbers is a story.

A scared animal who finally felt safe.
A kitten who found a family.
A dog who finally knows what a loving home feels like.
A life that might have been overlooked, but wasn’t.

We have made a difference in so many lives this year.

And none of these numbers — not one — could happen without each and every one of you. ❤️

August was also a HUGE month for donations, and you guys absolutely showed up and showed out! 🙌🏼

We want to remind you that there are so many ways you can help.

If you work in an office, own a business, work in a shop or factory, or are part of a social club or organization, consider sponsoring a donation drive or collecting donations among your coworkers or members.

These numbers are proof that our animals need all the help you can give us.

Because to you, it may just be a bag of towels.

But to us?

That bag of towels means clean kennels.

It means being able to provide for an animal who has nowhere else to go.

🌵 ADOPTION FORECAST: THE SUN CAME BACK OUT. 🌵

Well… yesterday we were celebrating Nash going HOME and officially hitting 5/10 in our Adoption Drought Challenge.

Today?

Not a drop. 😭

0 adoptions.
0 adoption applications.

Not even a sprinkle.

So apparently the rain dance needs some work. 😂

And somewhere out there are five families who just haven't seen their animal yet.
