Benton Animal Control is a municipal animal control facility located in the heart of Benton, Arkansas. We provide animal services to all citizens inside the city limits of Benton. Our goal is to try to find life long homes for our adoptable pets at the shelter. We are a high intake shelter, so if you see a pet that you would love to adopt, please don't hesitate to give us a call or come by and see us. We get so many nice animals in here - from purebred labs and german shepherds to the loving and sweet mixed breed dogs. All of them deserve a loving home and we want to help them find their forever home!

💗🐾 A LITTLE APPRECIATION FOR A BIG HEART! 🐾💗
Sometimes, the biggest difference is made by someone who simply shows up, time and time again, with a willing heart and a desire to help. Today, we want to take a moment to recognize one of our incredible volunteers who has given countless hours of her time to come out and help wherever she is needed. ❤️
She has made it her mission to spend time with so many of the dogs who are often overlooked day after day. She takes them out to stretch their legs, enjoy a little freedom from their kennels, and, most importantly, receive the love, attention, and one-on-one time they not only crave but truly DESERVE. 🐶💕
But she doesn't stop there! She has even started working with some of our dogs on basic commands and manners, giving them valuable skills that can help them put their best paw forward when their forever family finally comes along. Every walk, every training session, every kind word, and every extra minute she spends with them matters more than she may ever realize.
Shelter life can be hard, especially for the dogs who seem to get passed by day after day. Having someone who sees them, believes in them, and takes the time to remind them that they matter is truly priceless. 🥹🐾
We are beyond grateful for her heart, her dedication, and her willingness to show up for the dogs who need it most. Volunteers like her are such an important part of what we do, and we honestly couldn't thank her enough for everything she gives to our shelter and our animals.
Thank you for being a voice for the overlooked, a friend to the forgotten, and an extra bit of hope for the dogs still waiting for their happily ever after. You are making a difference, one dog at a time, and we hope you know just how much you are appreciated! 💗🐾

At 18 weeks old, this handsome little guy is ready to steal your heart… and possibly your snacks! 😹 Named after Joey from Friends, he definitely shares one BIG thing in common with his namesake: JOEY DOESN’T SHARE FOOD! 😂🍗 So if you’re looking for a dinner date who will happily let you pay for the meal but absolutely will NOT split his, you’ve found your guy!
But don’t let his food obsession fool you! Joey is also a world-class cuddle bug. 💕 Give him the opportunity to climb into your lap, and he may just purr so hard that he vibrates you right out of your seat! We're talking five-star, built-in kitten motor kind of cuddles. 🥹💙 Once he settles in, you might just have to cancel all your plans because, according to Joey, you're not going anywhere!

He was last spotted hiding underneath a white work van @ Mercado Latino Supermarket (12301 Stagecoarch Road) that was later seen driving off unknowingly that he was there.
