Looks like we will have to try Yoga with Shelter Dogs on a different date. Just not enough interest this time. 🫤

We are aware there have been some comments from folks on Facebook about our lack of answering/reacting to posts, comments, tags....Please understand we do not work 24 hours a day. When we are working our priorities are taking care of the animals in our charge and responding to community calls for assistance. We will post events, found pets, and pets up for adoption but will not respond to posts, comments, etc. Our voice mail gives specific instructions about how to handle situations. We appreciate your understanding.

Take a look at this beautiful Border Collie/PB. She is 8 months old and full of energy and love. She has had some basic training along with snake avoidance training. Hiking buddy anyone??

Today is the last day for City of Benson residents to submit applications for the no cost Spay/Neuter grant. Applicants will be notified by the end of the week if they are recipients of the grant money.

A very special shout out to the Benson High School Culinary students led by Ms. Goss. They made wonderful kits that can be given to our kitten and puppy adopters. We appreciate them, and you, as will our adopters. THANK YOU

To clarify, the Spay/Neuter completed applications must be in paper form or can be scanned and emailed. Applications must be submitted by 5:00pm on Monday, May 18th. Applications can be left at the shelter in the container provided outside the front door.

Applications are available for free cat and dog spaying/ neutering. You must be a resident of the city of Benson. There are limited funds available. Please call or email to request an application.
