🐾🎃 EVER WONDER WHAT A VETERINARY TECHNICIAN ACTUALLY DOES? 🎃🐾
Well… how much time do you have? 😂
Because on any given day, our technicians are:
🐾 Receptionists – Checking you in, checking you out, answering questions, and juggling phone calls.
💊 Pharmacy Technicians – Filling medications, calculating doses, and explaining instructions.
💉 Phlebotomists – Drawing blood from patients who definitely did NOT volunteer. 😂
🔬 Lab Technicians – Reading f***l samples, examining ear cytology, identifying parasites, and working their magic behind the microscope.
🩺 Nurses – Giving injections, administering treatments, monitoring patients, and changing bandages.
🧑⚕️ Surgical Technicians – Preparing patients for surgery, assisting the veterinarian, monitoring anesthesia, and staying by their side through recovery.
🦷 Dental Assistants – Cleaning teeth, assisting with dental procedures, and helping keep those pearly whites healthy.
🐕 Professional Animal Wranglers – Holding a wiggly puppy, convincing a 100-pound dog to cooperate, and negotiating with a very angry cat. 😹
🧼 Cleaning Crews – Because bodily fluids don't clean themselves!
📚 Educators – Teaching pet parents about medications, nutrition, preventive care, and everything in between.
🧠 Counselors – Answering the tough questions, easing fears, and listening when pet parents need someone to talk to.
❤️ Comforters – Holding a frightened patient, sitting beside an animal waking up from surgery, and offering a gentle touch when they're scared.
🌈 **And sometimes… they're the ones holding your hand during the hardest goodbye.** They're the ones giving your beloved pet one last cuddle, making sure they're comfortable, loved, and never alone.
And somehow, between ALL of that, they still find time for puppy kisses, kitten snuggles, and a little laughter. 🥹
**A veterinary technician isn't just one job. It's a dozen jobs, a thousand responsibilities, and a whole lot of heart.** ❤️🐾
So this October, during our **Techs & Treats Month**, we're celebrating the incredible people who do it ALL!
👇 Next time you see one of our technicians, give them a little extra love. They deserve it! 🧡
