We provide compassionate care, medical support, and a second chance for every feline until they find a loving forever home Rescue Purrfect
What started out as a love for animals has blossomed over the years into a passion for saving homeless, unwanted and abandoned cats, kittens and other pets for owner/operator Michele Miller. It was by chance and later necessity that Michele was introduced into the world of rescue twenty years ago when she began as a foreclosure appraiser. She saw first hand kittens and cats locked in foreclosed houses without food or water, neglected and abandoned pets roaming the streets, and animals struggling to survive outside in the elements. This led Michele to start Rescue Purrfect, a not profit organization helping abandoned, stray, rescued, and injured cats by providing quality shelter and foster care. Michele continues to work with various communities in Philadelphia/Bucks and surrounding areas, educating neighborhoods with assisting them in managing and establish healthy colonies, donating food, and offering no cost or low cost spay/neuter and wellness clinic to owners of cats or colonies in their areas. Rescue Purrfect's ultimate goal is twofold: to adopt-out friendly, healthy animals to loving homes and ensure established colonies are healthy and safe. Rescue Purrfect takes cats and kittens into a loving environment where they are nursed back to health and provided care in a cage-free facility. This allows them the ability for free play and socialization with other cats and kittens. They are also cared for and socialized by a full staff of dedicated individuals, so upon adoption they are well adjusted to their permanent home. Please note that all of our Cats and Kittens are spayed and neutered at a safe age, and up to date on all shots before they are adopted.
