Howdy, pack! 🎆🐾
Happy 4th of July from all of us—including our resident shop pups, Millie & Cinch—here at The Bark N’ Buckle Grooming!
While we’re all excited for the burgers, boots, and celebrations, the big evening booms can be a little less than "home on the range" for our furry cowboys and cowgirls. As you can see- Millie and Cinch are opting for a cozy, calm holiday indoors, and we want to help your pups stay just as relaxed!
Before the fireworks start kickin' up, here are a few quick tips to keep your best friends safe and sound tonight:
🤠 Quick Tips for a Stress-Free 4th:
* Bring 'Em Inside Early: Even the most well-behaved ranch dog can panic and bolt when fireworks start. Keep them safely indoors before dusk.
* Create a Safe Haven: Set up a cozy interior room or crate with their favorite blanket, a fan, or some white noise to drown out the loud thuds.
* Tire 'Em Out: Take a long walk or have a big play session earlier in the day. A tired dog is a calmer dog!
* Distraction is Key: Give them something high-value to focus on, like a frozen peanut butter KONG or a favorite chew.
* Check Their Rigging: Double-check that collars are secure and ID tags/microchips are completely up-to-date, just in case they manage to make a break for it.
Have a wonderful, safe, and happy Independence Day, everyone!
