It’s National Veterinary Technician Week!
This week, we’re celebrating the incredible veterinary technicians (and assistants) at Broken Top Veterinary Clinic of Bend, Oregon!
Our support staff are the heart of our hospital. Their hard work, compassion, and dedication make a difference every single day—not just for our patients, but for their families and our entire community.
We are so grateful for the many ways they show up for others:
🐾 Exceptional patient care — Providing comfort, compassion, and attentive care to every pet that walks through our doors.
🐾 Being the voice for our patients — Advocating for animals who can’t tell us what hurts and ensuring their health, safety, and well-being always come first.
🐾 Supporting pet owners — Helping families navigate difficult diagnoses, stressful visits, and the many emotions that come with caring for a beloved pet.
🐾 Going above and beyond for our community — Stepping up when local pets and families need extra help, including making room for animals affected by emergencies and helping their owners through challenging circumstances.
🐾 Being an incredible team — Supporting our veterinarians, lifting each other up, and bringing kindness, knowledge, and dedication to every shift.
🐾 Making our hospital a better place — Showing up with patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for what they do, even on the busiest and hardest days.
This week, our team has been spoiled, gifted, fed, and celebrated in all the ways we can think of! It's a small way to say thank you to the people who give so much of themselves to the pets and people we serve.
To our veterinary technicians and assistants: We see you, we appreciate you, and we couldn't do what we do without you. Thank you for the long days, the extra hands, the compassionate hearts, and the countless things you do behind the scenes that make such a big difference.
Our patients are lucky to have you, our community is stronger because of you, and we are incredibly lucky to have you as part of the Broken Top Veterinary Clinic family. 🐾
