sitting on Gemma for the first time in a while. (Jumped on and off a lot before this video)
Little story of what's been going on-
Gemma was going to be in the riding division for the show, then I had to move her to in hand after she suddenly regressed and we had to rebuild our trust with one another. Safe to say, when getting on her she would try to blow up or would blow up. Took everything back to ground 0, worked on getting back on her, more ground work, getting back on and sitting, and also letting her chill out after the show with the other horses and be a normal horse. she's since calmed down a lot and has decided she wants to work and is willing, we've been building slowly with me sitting on her back for a couple minutes and then asking for a step. so this was the first time sitting on her in a couple weeks due to other reasons.

Josie is starting to understand her body better so I've been riding her more and more. we've been working a lot on steering especially during a lope where she lacks the most. she's coming a long ways. she's a little slower of a learner when it comes to doing things at a lope, so I'm proud of her for starting to understand and be light and starting to pick up her leads.
