How is our Boy Juniper STILL waiting for his person?! 😍

We keep asking ourselves what this amazing guy is still doing here! Juniper is a gorgeous, purebred 2-year-old Border Collie with an absolutely striking brown-and-white coat that makes him stand out from the crowd. And trust us, he’s every bit as wonderful on the inside as he is on the outside.

He’s fantastic on a leash, house-trained, kennel-trained, has a great recall, and is smart, affectionate, and eager to please. He’s great with other dogs, loves a good cuddle, handles baths like a champ, and settles beautifully in the car.

Juniper is a true Border Collie with drive around horses and cattle, so he will thrive with someone who appreciates the big Collie brain, gives him a job, and keeps him athletic body busy. He’s got all the makings of an incredible working partner or adventure companion.

Honestly, this boy is quite the package. Gorgeous coat. Brilliant mind. Wonderful manners. Endless potential. We can’t believe he’s still here, and we’d love nothing more than to see him find the person who recognizes just how special he is.

🚨 URGENT FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! 🚨2 homes. They do not need to go together

🐾 Meet Rosie & Squishy two German Shepherd mix dogs looking for a soft place to land! 🐾

Sometimes life changes, and through no fault of their own, dogs find themselves needing a new place to call home. Rosie and Squishy both came to rescue when their owners could no longer care for them, and now we need your help finding them safe, loving foster homes! ❤️

🐶 Squishy is 1 year old
🐶 Rosie is 2 years old

Both are good with other dogs and kids! Because of their size and the fact that they don’t always realize just how big they are, homes with older children would be the best fit.

Squishy is Kennel trained and mostly house trained.
Rosie will need a little more patience and understanding

🙏 FOSTERS NEEDED NOW!

Fostering saves lives. It gives dogs a safe place to decompress, learn, and prepare for their forever homes while we continue searching for their perfect match.

🏡 Can you open your home to Rosie or Squishy?
❤️ Know someone who might be able to help? Please share this post!

You don’t have to be perfect or have all the answers. You just need a little space, patience, and a willingness to help a dog in need.

Let’s get Rosie and Squishy out of rescue and into loving homes! 🐾

📩 Please message Herding Dog Rescue of Central Oregon if you can foster or want to learn more. Or email [email protected]
