FOSTERS AND ADOPTERS NEEDED! We have a very full house over here, and more dogs that need a safe place to land. We are urgently looking for fosters and adopters for these wonderful pups:

🐾 Brookie – 7 months old, about 40 lbs. Sweet, happy girl who loves people and other dogs. Potty trained with a dog door. She’ll kennel when needed, though it’s not her favorite place to be. Walks on a leash but does pull and would benefit from some basic training. Border Collie/Shepherd mix.

🐾 Shyla – 10 months old, about 35 lbs. A timid girl who blossoms once she feels safe. Potty trained with a dog door, quiet and well-behaved in her kennel. She had never been on a leash before coming into rescue, so she’s learning the basics and making progress. Great with other dogs but would do best in a quieter home.

🐾 Willow – About 35 lbs. Very sweet, affectionate girl who gets along well with other dogs. She’s improving with kennel time every day and walks reasonably well on a leash. She’ll thrive with a family willing to continue her training and build her confidence.

🐱 Cat-friendly: All three girls have done well with cats.

Please share, foster, or consider adopting. Every dog that leaves my house opens a spot for another dog in need.

❤️ Fostering saves lives just as surely as adopting does! Thank you for considering!

What. A. Weekend!! 🎉🐾
Ten pups got adopted this weekend (one was apparently too busy packing for their new life to make the photo shoot). That’s 10 dogs who successfully convinced humans they absolutely needed another furry roommate, professional treat tester, sock thief, bed hog, and personal shadow.

We’re thrilled for every one of them and a little quieter around here today... although not by much. 😆

Don’t worry, we still have plenty of amazing dogs looking for their people. Head to hdrescueoregon.com and see who’s waiting to charm their way into your home next. Mission status: 10 dogs adopted. Countless hearts stolen. ❤️

FOSTERS NEEDED TO BRING THEM INTO THE RESCUE
These dogs were dumped.
This is the info she sent me on them
She says both dogs are female, the reddish one I think is like 6 months and the white one is probably atleast a year maybe two.

Extremely friendly they love everyone they meet ESPECIALLY kids they’re very gentle. The red jumps when she’s excited and also pees a little but the white does not.

Good with dogs of all sizes unsure about cats or smaller animals. They’ve done fine around mine but I haven’t let them be unsupervised. Unsure how they’d do in a car also.

I believe the red one is a puppy of the white from a previous litter from the information I was given from the neighbor.

The white was pregnant when they got dumped-the puppies all found homes she loves to smile at you and when she recognizes your car pulling in she runs up to you.

The red one is more a talker and greets you with a happy growl and tail wag sometimes a bit of a howl.

They have scared off coyotes from around our property that is the only time they bark is when they see something in the fields. The white resource guards food from other dogs so I feed them separately.

They do not need to go together, the white would THRIVE in a home with kids of any age she’s so gentle.

The red would do great with anyone but due to her jumping when she’s excited (we’ve been working with her) probably not super young kids.

Meet Mama Rosie and Her Puppies foster or adopt ❤️

Mama Rosie, still a puppy herself, was found in Prineville starving and doing her best to care for her babies. Her puppies were only three weeks old when they were rescued, and sadly, two had already been lost.

Today, thanks to love, good food, and safety, Rosie and her four surviving puppies are thriving.

And now their second chapter — the best one — begins. ❤️

Rosie is a sweet, beautiful shepherd mix, about a year old and 50 pounds. Her puppies are now 10 weeks old, healthy, happy, and ready for their forever homes.

And the cuteness? The photos speak for themselves. 🐾

Not great pics. I can get better later. These three need Foster’s. Two siblings lived on the streets of Washington being bounced around. He was recently neutered and I’m guessing since they lived with homeless aren’t potty trained. Timid right now but I just got them home. Tri color is a male great with kids and other dogs. Not sure if he’s potty trained or not.

Foster needed. Good with kids 10 and older cats and dogs. She’s about 40lbs

Meet Cheeto Frito Bandito — a 4 month old Heeler/Retriever mix pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This handsome guy is ready to find a forever family willing to help him continue learning that life with humans is actually pretty awesome.

Cheeto didn’t have much human interaction early in life, so new people and experiences can still be a little scary at first. But give him a little patience (and maybe a few tasty treats) and he warms up beautifully. Once he trusts you, you’ll discover a sweet, cuddly puppy who loves curling up in your lap for naps.

This semi-wild child is learning all about leash walks and is making great progress every day. He absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive with a confident canine buddy to show him the ropes. Playing chase with his dog friends is one of his favorite activities!

Recently, Cheeto went camping with his foster family and impressed everyone with his natural recall skills. He happily followed the big dogs on adventures, but always checked back to make sure his humans were keeping up.

At night, Cheeto sleeps quietly in his crate without a peep until morning and he’s nearly fully potty trained too. At about 30 pounds at 4 months old, we expect he’ll grow into a 50 pound adult.

Cheeto is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and officially ready for his forever home.
