Wanting to thank everyone who reached out this afternoon and evening. Our family is safe, but there are multiple families tonight that won’t be able to tuck their babies into bed, give them hugs, kisses and watch them grow up. There’s a teacher who won’t be able to be with their loved ones and students because of this cruel cowardice act of violence. There’s another child and teacher also fighting for their lives right now. There are the families, students, educators, friends, neighbors and our little town (Bend Oregon) that will be forever changed by this.
There is one parent who made a huge life altering decision, who put his life above all else to save more lives. This he will carry for the rest of his life, we all thank him. Our hearts are broken tonight, for our small community…. We will never be the same without those we lost today. 💔
