Today was all about comfort for Rocky💚 He is a very old boy (especially for a newfie) and he is also huge and hairy! He has a really hard time standing up and walking on his own, so he wears a harness with handles and his owners help him get around. Due to his mobility issues and not wanting to stress the old guy out, we decided along with his owners to do a comfort groom today🥰 We skipped the bath and blow dry, but did as much as we could to get him cleaned up. He got fully brushed out, nails and paws trimmed, ears cleaned, and we shaved some troublesome areas along with his sanitary to help him stay nice and clean!🥳 I wanted to share this as a reminder that grooming is not always about beauty, it's about the health and comfort of your dog, no matter what that may look like! Robin and I are always more than happy to accommodate to your dogs needs and keep them comfortable🥰
