This past Saturday River today in Fast CAT - personal best! 1st run was 24.18 mph and his 2nd run was 23.40 mph. He only needs 2 more runs for his DCAT. I love this little guy.

River finished up his Rally Level 1 title today with a 196 and 4th place and I entered him in Level 1 B (to get his level 1 championship - 10 legs) and he got a 207 (no placement but he rocked it!) I didn't have anyone video tape for me today, but his 2nd run was super - I am so proud of him. At 13-1/2 months old he is now M&M's A River Runs Threwe It, BCAT, FDC, HIT, RL1. Wow

River's first run for his Herding Instinct test! The 2nd video of the 2nd run didn't come out great, so I won't post that one, however HE PASSED!!! (with flying colors!) He is now M&M's a River Runs Threwe It, BCAT, FDC, HIT!!! I am so very proud of him. For those that don't know, the Herding Instinct Test isn't trained beforehand - they either have the instinct or they don't. River is very much in the former category (and he got a ton of compliments from everyone that saw him)

River SWIMS! It didn't start out this pretty he was doing the butt dragging front legs flailing and blinding me with water, clawing me, (that's why I wore a shirt) but after about 6 or 7 reps, he caught his stride. And thanks to Brianna Loefler for sharing her dad's pool with me! Wow did we both need that nice cold, clean water! And he only tried to get out of the pool once (first rep) - after that he just stood on the step. And I used "tally ho" because that's what they say in Fast CAT and he totally lights up when he hears it.
