Our deepest condolences to the English family, from all of us at Paws on State. 😔 We cannot even imagine this loss.

The overwhelming love, support, thoughts, prayers, calls, texts, and messages are helping us as we navigate the pain of losing our beautiful, sweet daughter, Yvette—our angel. Even when we cannot find the words or respond to every message, please know we feel your love and are grateful beyond what words can express.

The outpouring of support is a powerful testimony to Yvette’s life, the hearts she touched, and the legacy that will live on. We believe our grief will have glory as we honor her life, carry her love forward, and trust God to hold us through this heartbreak.

Our business has always been rooted in honoring God and serving people. That is the foundation of our family and Zae’s Classic Chicago. To have this community surround us with that same love means more than you will ever know.

We understand that life happens, schedules get busy, and sometimes things come up! However, we want to remind everyone why showing up for your scheduled grooming appointment is so important. ❤️

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗼-𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀:

🐶 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲. Our groomers work on commission, meaning if your pet doesn’t show up, they don’t get paid for that appointment.

⏰ 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁. We reserve that time specifically for your pet, and without notice, we’re unable to offer it to another client who may have been waiting for an opening. We almost always have a wait-list, and many clients that would be happy to have that appointment if it’s available.

💔 𝗜𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. No-shows impact our groomers, our schedules, and our ability to accommodate other clients.

𝗦𝗼, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗼-𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄?

🐾 To schedule another appointment, a 𝟭𝟬𝟬% 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁 will be required to secure your next booking.

🐾 As long as you attend that next appointment and continue following our cancellation policy, deposits will not be required for future bookings unless another late cancellation or no-show occurs.

We aren’t asking for deposits to punish anyone. These policies are in place to protect our groomers’ time, hard work, and income.

We kindly ask that if you cannot make your appointment, you give us 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟰 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀' 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 so we have an opportunity to fill that spot.

We appreciate every single client who respects our time and understands that grooming isn’t just our passion — it’s also how our team makes a living. 🐾❤️

This month, we’re celebrating TWO YEARS of having Jenna as part of our Paws on State family! ✂️

Jenna has been with us since the very beginning, and we are so grateful to have her on our team! Her patience, kindness, and gentle approach with every pet she works with are just a few of the things that make her such a wonderful groomer. ❤️

Although Jenna isn’t in the salon as often as she used to be, she is still just as loved and appreciated as ever! No matter how often we get to see her, she will always be such a special part of our Paws on State family! 💗

We appreciate all the hard work, love, and dedication she has brought to our salon over these past two years. We truly couldn’t imagine the salon without her!
