Do Not Ask me to reduce my prices...Here's why
1. First 12 hours of delivery: Up with the Dam helping as well as taking her in and out because of the afterbirths and blood she cleans up.
2. Second step: Up with the Dam for a week straight. I sleep for 2 hours at a time making sure puppies are rotating feedings and not being smothered by each other. I stay home all day for 2 weeks straight making sure the litter is safe. I miss events and many times church.
3. Third step: Third week I'm up every 3 hours doing the same. Puppies eyes are opening. Im still stuck in the house but with my trusty cameras I can sometimes leave for an hour at a time. Many times I will have a family member "babysit" the litter. Then I can leave for a whopping 2 hours.
4. Fourth step: Fourth week finally able to sleep 6 hrs at a time, if the Dam doesn't have to go out every 2 hrs because of all the cleaning up she does for her puppies. Puppies eyes are opened and they are moving around, barking and starting to play. (My favorite phase)
*This is all on top of cleaning the space, feeding the Dam special high protein foods, and making sure she is getting adequate electrolytes. This all helps the mom as well as her babies growth. My Dam births her puppies in a special spot in my home. Not a barn, a shed, a garage, or kennel as others do.*
Fifth step: Fifth week the puppies are placed in a large puppy play house that has heat and ac. The Dam is able to go in and out as she pleases. We clean it out from top to bottom 2 times a day.
The puppies are wormed every week starting at week 4. They get their first vaccines at week 5.
I am tired of some wanting a "good deal". I have over 200 service dogs, multiple search and rescue dogs, police dogs, and family pets that serve as protectors throughout the United States. We work hard to make sure a healthy puppy is what one receives when he/she is picked up. Be appreciative that my prices are not in the thousands as some are with my same bloodlines and lineage.
I do offer discounts for veterans, law enforcement and other civil servants.
Its a blessing to be able to have a home with space, as well as land for these spectacular dogs to thrive on. From our farm to your home.
